Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Elayna Clair. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Elayna Clair, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. I’m sure there have been days where the challenges of being an artist or creative force you to think about what it would be like to just have a regular job. When’s the last time you felt that way? Did you have any insights from the experience?
I honestly couldn’t be happier doing anything other than creating. Staying creative continues to be my lifeline. I have worked many “regular” jobs in my past and at this point in my life, I could never go back.

Elayna Clair, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I am an artist based out of Tampa, FL. My mission is to model an inspired life of kindness and compassion for all living beings, to reduce our carbon footprint, and be present in our minds and bodies. Throughout the years, I have been signed by a plethora of dance, film, and modeling agencies as well as sold my personal work in several art shows. My current creations consist of customized paintings, live paintings, murals, logo design, social media management, and content creation. With painting being my main focus, I enjoy working with acrylic, oil, and ink. When starting a new piece, I prefer to let the brush take the lead which usually manifests into an otherworldly realm portraying whatever emotions arise through the process. One would describe my paintings as a marriage of Realism, Psychedelic, and Contemporary. When it comes to customized paintings, I work closely with my clients in order to tell their stories in a way they aren’t able to express themselves. I can only hope to bring people closer to mother nature and feel a deeper sense of inner peace & purpose.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
The most rewarding aspect is that feeling of getting lost in the flow, time melting away, and coming out of it with new perspectives and growth. With every piece I work on, I overcome what seems in the moment an endless amount of hurdles and witnessing my skills improve right before my eyes. The added bonus is getting the privilege of knowing the emotional impact my work has on people whereas many artists before me did not. The knowing that I am truly making a difference in their lives is something to cherish.

What can society do to ensure an environment that’s helpful to artists and creatives?
The easiest ways for people to best support the creative community, is to help with engagement by commenting on our social media platforms and sharing our posts and accomplishments with your own community. By doing that, you’re helping our work be seen and get in front of the right people that may have otherwise not found us. If you feel that our work will fit the theme of an upcoming art show, gallery showing, or event, please connect us since we are not always able to keep up when we’re hidden away in the studio covered in paint or whatever medium it may be!
