Hi Elainna, thanks for joining us today. How do you feel about asking friends and family to support your business? What’s appropriate, what’s not? Where do you draw the line?
I have a supportive friends and family so I am okay with asking my family to support my business. I don’t think it is appropriate for friends and family to ask for discount from my business. Sometimes people feel that just because your family they are entitled to a discount. That’s where I draw the line.
Elainna, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Hello, my name is Elainna Browner and I am the owner of Browner and CO Consulting LLC. I am from a small city Albany, GA. I got in the Tax Industry through a well knowledgeable friend who offered to train me. I admired her work ethic and professionalism . When I realized how much money I could make in this industry, I knew it was something I wanted to be apart of. My company offers completion of business and personal taxes and notary services. I am most proud of my professional growth in this industry and helping others.
We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
I learned at a young age that some things in life are priceless and not always about financial gain. I became a young widow with two kids. Through this traumatic event in my life I lost a partner but also knew that I still had the responsibility as a mother and provider. Stepping into entrepreneurship was one of the best decisions I ever made in my life.
What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
The best source of new clients for me have been from social media and different clients from different businesses.
