Elaine Diamond , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.

I came up with my idea with writing my book doing the most critical crazy time in our lives the pandemic in 2020 my kids and I had already started on the book back in 2018 but just never had the time to finish it or really put the effort into it I was comfortable and too comfortable in the pandemic made me realize that

Elaine Diamond , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

I am a single mother with children wanted to see more of themselves on the cover of a book and reflection of them they wanted to see more Of African-Americans on a cover of a book but in a positive way

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

I would definitely say social media played a big part in the marketing and getting my book out to the masses of people that I didn’t even know her access so publishing was one of the best things I did I’m now known in the UK

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?

I had to learn to be very open I’m actually very shy and very private but with having a book and networking you have to come out of your shell
