Elaine, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Owning a business isn’t always glamorous and so most business owners we’ve connected with have shared that on tough days they sometimes wonder what it would have been like to have just had a regular job instead of all the responsibility of running a business. Have you ever felt that way?

Becoming a business owner has been the absolute best thing I could ever do. All it truly takes is for you to believe in yourself. Working between the hours of 9am until 6pm everyday was exhausting. It seemed like it was taking me away from what I am most passionate about. Didn’t seem like I had enough time that I needed to dedicate to all the inventory I’ve invested in. As well as all my residential and commercial clients. Having better control of my time. I was truly nervous to take that step to leave my job and go full time with my business. I have no regrets in the decision I’ve made, I’m proud and will continue to keep this business striving.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

Well before I decided to start any type of business I was a preschool teacher at the time. I enjoyed the crafts and teaching the little ones new things. One day I realized how creative and how much I enjoy doing DIY projects. Came across an Instagram video of someone creating a flower wall for an event and decided I can do it, but maybe better. I am very proud to be the only American, woman owned business providing flower wall panels in the Atlanta market. My passion is to exceed my client’s expectations. I am most proud of the satisfaction expressed by my client on a job well done.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?

The most rewarding aspect is being able to turn my vision and ideas into reality. I like seeing my clients happy and pleased with the job that I have done.

What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?

References from satisfied customers and social media. Social media has been the best platform to introduce my business to new clients.
