Ej Brad , appreciate you joining us today. When did you first know you wanted to pursue a creative/artistic path professionally?
We would always watch other creators on YouTube and decided we wanted to create content that would be entertaining. We’ve always wanted to represent all people in a positive way. In December 2019 we started our channel with trying different snacks. We didn’t know a lot about lighting or backgrounds but we just wanted to create videos. When the Covid-19 pandemic hit in 2020, it allowed us a chance to think about the content we wanted to create and expand on that vision. We made a great amount of content in 2020 & 2021 traveling to Las Vegas wearing our masks and playing slots and filming our foodie moments.
Ej Brad , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Ej Brad And Kai was created with a clear vision to simply be entertaining and provide positive and fun content that everyone could relate to! We are a loving, gay black couple who have been together for 12 years! We love to travel and eat great foods along the way. Kai is the fun loving and creative person who always likes to prank me every chance he gets. Ej Brad loves to talk and engage with everyone. We both love to hear from our viewers and subscribers to help us thrive! We are unique because we are real people that are not trying to gimmick or click bate for views. If you’re tired of all the negative vibes on social media, then spend some time with Ej Brad And Kai! Kai creates most of the music you hear on our videos and has released projects on all music streaming platforms as RB2G! Although this industry is competitive we hope people will focus on the energy and great vibes we put into the social media universe!
What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
Our mission is to expand our journey by becoming traveling content creators on a full time basis. We want to create and bring our audience the best content from all over the world. We want to be the go to for great travel destinations to visit and great dining options from many different cultures.
In your view, what can society to do to best support artists, creatives and a thriving creative ecosystem?
Respect the artistry of the creators and provide support by engaging and promoting positive feedback to help artists and creatives expand and broaden their talents. Struggling artists can not do it alone. Just like the ancestors say “It takes a Village”! Creators also need financial help to continue to provide great content.
