Eglantina , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Early in your career, how did you think through the decision of whether to start your own firm or join an established firm?
I joined Real Broker LLC in August 2022 . Before that, I was with a different brokerage which wasn’t a good fit for me. It was 100% cloud based and I didn’t find it easy to adjust my style with that format. I am people’s person and I like being face-to-face with my co-workers as well as my clients. It was just too difficult for me and my style so I changed brokerages and joining Real broker LLC. It was one of the best decision I could have made for myself. I got to meet some of the most amazing people in the business and become part of The Kat Garcia Group. I’ve been a Realtor for over a year now and I love every minute of it.
Eglantina , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I received my real estate license 15 months ago and I am a full-time Realtor with Real Brokerage LLC. So far, I deal primarily with residential real estate, but have begun working with a client on a commercial deal recently. Every transaction is different and you learn something new everyday. In this business you have to keep yourself informed and educated so I attend weekly training and also attend courses at the Realtor Academy. I would say what sets me apart from other’s is my personality: what you see is what you get! I am very outgoing; I don’t compare and I don’t compete with anyone but myself. I do what I love and I love what I do. Buying and selling homes is a stressful process so I try to put my clients at ease and support them by showing them that they are in good hands. I am very honest, funny, full of energy, and very creative. It is a true honor for me to have my clients trust me with one of the most important decisions of their lives and I take that very seriously.
Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
My sphere of influence, friends and referrals. It is truly a great feeling when they trust you with their friends and your circle grows. I do use my social media, but so far, all of my clients are friends and referrals. In my spare time I do paper art and also I am very big into gardening so posting about my hobbies has also attracted new followers to my account.
How did you build your audience on social media?
I post all kinds of videos; I just go with the flow. I love fashion, art, crafting and gardening so I do different projects which keep my followers captivated. I try to keep it fresh and different. For instance, one day I will post about my fashion style, the next day will be about the garden, the day after I will post videos of a house tour, then maybe a home project and then back to real estate. I’ll even throw in a cute video of my sweet dog Buttercup, which EVERYONE loves, so my social media followers keep growing. I guess they like my videos.
