Eeva, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Do you manage your own social media?
Currently, I am managing my social media! The choice was easy to keep costs low. My results have been amazing. I love seeing excellent daily insights with content I created and shared. Social media platforms continue to make incredible updates often, so I try to take advantage of them all to edit and deliver content to the world. Editing can be the most time-consuming and frustrating part of managing your own social media. If you can hire someone who can understand how you want your message sent out to the world, consider it!
Eeva, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is Eeva Swan. I’m a Sacramento native raised in Oak Park and spent some years (14-17 years old) in Klamath Falls, Oregon. I am a Realtor serving the Greater Sacramento and surrounding areas. With an extensive background in sales and service, it’s also a privilege to share my skills and expertise in a meaningful and impactful way right here in my community. Real Estate was always an interest of mine when I decided to go for it and switched my major when returning to college in 2017.
I have an Associate of the Arts degree in Real Estate (2021) and received Certificates in studies (2017 -2020) for General Business, Entrepreneurship, and Real Estate Sales at Los Rios American River College. When I am not working for clients, you may find me out enjoying fine weather and outdoor activities with family and friends.
What sets me apart from others are my different experiences in my personal and professional life and my personality. Years and years of contribution in customer service/sales and with many types of businesses and practices allow me to carefully navigate with clients the sometimes “unknown processes” With confidence and empathy, I strive to provide peace of mind and quality service to all my clients.
How did you build your audience on social media?
I am still working on growing my social media presence for my business. My advice, if you’re just starting to build your social media presence, start with an “Intent Post” on any platform where you’re sharing content. With an “Intent Post,” you’ll give a perspective to potential new followers and clients and the opportunity for them to identify if your content will interest them now or in the future. Stay away from hashtag overuse, and be picky with the hashtags that you do, choose to tag in your posts.
What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
The best source of new clients is referrals! Getting a new client from a referral of friends or family is the biggest compliment of trust, a compliment I will never take lightly.
