We recently connected with Edward Jones and have shared our conversation below.
Edward , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.
Levi J. Bespoke Consulting came to me very recently if I am to be completely honest. A few months ago I got laid off for the second time this year, and after meeting with a few colleagues they encouraged me to branch on my own. After doing some discovery and research in the areas I know I could help businesses and individuals thrive, the idea was born.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Born in New Haven, CT, and raised in Nashville, TN, I cultivated a lifelong passion for music and style—two influences that have shaped the foundation of his diverse professional journey. Early exposure to these creative fields provided a glimpse into the career paths I would later pursue.
I began my “real” career as a booking agent, navigating both the Christian and secular music industries. From there, I transitioned into corporate roles, serving as a Marketing Manager for a telecom company in Nashville. Each chapter of my career has sharpened my expertise in branding, strategy, and creativity.
Now, as the founder of Levi J. Bespoke Consulting, I bring a unique blend of style and strategy to businesses and individuals. My consulting firm specializes in refining personal and professional branding through tailored marketing solutions and style consultations, including custom wardrobe options.
Driven by a commitment to excellence, my mantra is simple Strategic Consulting, Styled for Success.

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
I would say that this season I am in currently is the pivot in my career, After being laid off twice this year going forward I want to be more In control of my career. Even if I go back into the corporate world, my own consulting business will be my retirement plan.

Any advice for managing a team?
When I’ve managed 1 person or multiple people I had two objectives:
1. Bring the best of that person or the team.
2. Humble myself.
I truly think if you want to manage a great team allow your team to do what they were hired to do, listen to their feedback, lean on their expertise, and remember they are human. Humility goes along way with managing a team. Leading them is actually being of service to them. Remember they are the experts and your job is to guide these experts the right way.
