We recently connected with Chef Eddie G and have shared our conversation below.

Chef Eddie G, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Covid has brought about so many changes – has your business model changed?

Interestingly enough our industry was changing prior to covid. Events are not as large and we have created a boutique feel to our festivals. People love to hire a Chef for a special occasion, product launch or a food and wine festival. Filming had its challenges during covid but global travel has reopened and global events are operating again.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

We provide full culinary events and production. Our team Flys to different venues around the world exploring various cultures and culinary cuisines to enhance our events. We are in a unique position to be involved in food & Wine Festivals, large sporting events and celebrity driven gatherings and capturing all of this content digitally. I am passionate about Cooking and traveling and learning different cultures while doing so. This is an incredible lifestyle and I’m beyond humbled to be asked to create dishes for fabulous events.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?

I’ve created a very niche market where we get called to cook and film to feature a product or service. All of our business is word of mouth and we are fortunate to have cooked at some high profile events, the Super Bowl in Miami cooking for Snoop Dogg, South Beach Food & Wine Festival with actor Jonathan Goldsmith or entertaining Jamie Foxx in NYC.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?

Just being asked to travel around the world and cook at different locals has been an incredible creative journey. I’m blessed to be involved in some major events, this past weekend I cooked at the PGAs Presidents Cup in Charlotte NC. More of these opportunities are my goal and mission as well as bringing awareness to global hunger.
