Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Edward & Asia Vine. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Edward & Asia, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to hear the backstory behind a risk you’ve taken – whether big or small, walk us through what it was like and how it ultimately turned out.

Taking risks is something that was unusually to us at a point in time. Now we understand that there can be no success without risk. The path we have chosen to take is the uncommon path. We know a lot of people will go against us simply because our light shines bright, and we want to spread our love into the world. We are greatness and a lot of people cannot handle that because who we are causes them to “take a look in the mirror”. People fear change and a lot of times are threatened by it. When you come from backgrounds such as ours, you find that many people don’t believe in themselves or have the confidence or capacity to ignite the change from within, so they accept living unfulfilled, mediocre lives. That, however, was not written in the scripts for us. We have been chosen to bring change upon ourselves. It first started mentally, by reprogramming our thought processes and perspectives. Then physically by converting to a healthier lifestyle, which includes eating a diet full of nutritious plant-based foods, as well as incorporating daily movement and exercise. And lastly, financially. By freeing ourselves of the never-ending cycle of trading our precious time for money. We have learned the true value of money and understand that money is a tool, not the destination. With all that we have been through we know that our troubles are not over, but nothing that is truly worth having is going to come easily.

Edward & Asia, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

The Vine Universe is a space that promotes peace, health, positivity, love, happiness and prosperity. We believe that in order to create a life worth living, one must create the change within. We stand for self-evolution and the betterment of oneself physically, emotionally and spiritually. When Asia and I came together, we decided that it was essential to spread our philosophy to others and help people gain a new perspective on life. By assisting others to become aware, we truly understand how important it is to live by our teachings. We convey a message where it is made clear that living life righteously and to the fullest is the only way to live a life that is truly worth living. We wish to extend our wisdom and light into the world in numerous ways. This is what has led us to publish our first book titled, 7 Laws Of Mastering Your Mind. We know that to change the seen, you must first change the unseen. To change your life, you must first change your mind. My wife and I are inspiring change within our community by setting the example of what real excellence looks like. Giving the younger generation hope and guidance is a top priority for us.

We influence individuals to make healthier lifestyle decisions. In all areas of life is it imperative that we make conscious decisions. We firmly believe that making conscious decisions regarding your mental and physical well-being can assist individuals in obtaining peace. Aside from being authors, we also have a vegan catering business, Vine Vegan, which helps us provide healthier alternatives that are not always available. You may see us around DFW at different events and pop ups serving delicious vegan meals and baked goods.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?

Along the way our faith has been tested tremendously. Not to get too personal, but we’ve dealt with a lot of negativities from those who would be considered the closest to us. Amazingly, we continue to prevail during this journey.

Have any books or other resources had a big impact on you?

Listening to lectures by Bobby Hemmitt and Osei Kufour have greatly impacted our consciousness and perspective. Their teachings have enlightened us with spiritual guidance and wisdom. This has enabled us to develop a thought process that is uncommon in people of our community, therefore giving us the opportunity to share our light with others in numerous ways.
