Eden, appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to hear about a time you helped a customer really get an amazing result through their work with you.
I make tracing mats to help kids learn their letters, numbers, shapes, and more. A customer is Savannah Georgia expressed that my tracing mat helped her son learn how to write his letters and he enjoys using it.

Eden, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I started my business when I was 7 years old after watching the news and seeing the devastation hurricane Dorian did to the Bahamas in 2019. I wanted to do something to help those who were affected by the storm.
My mom and I searched different ideas on YouTube of things I could do to raise funds to send care packages to the Bahamas. We came across a video on how to make infinity scarves. We both thought that would be a great way to raise funds. I started my business Eden’s Lovely Creations and started making infinity scarves. Since then, I’ve expanded my business to include making tracing mats for kids to help them learn their letters, numbers, shapes and more. I also became a retailer with Eucalan Delicate Wash to offer customers a non-toxic no rinse option to care for their scarves.
It’s a great feeling to know that I offer products that not only is good for the environment but also helps my customers to stay warm during the fall and winter as well as assist kids with literacy and math.

How did you build your audience on social media?
My mom and I worked together to build my audience on social media. Not only do we share pictures of my product when it’s completed, we also include short clips of how to use the product. I ran ads to expand my audience to include potential customers in other cities and states. It was also important to me that others knew of my satisfied customer so I make sure to post pictures with my customers and share their reviews.
For anyone building their social media presence, I recommend to always share your work, what your customers like about your product and invest in running ads.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
My most effective strategy for growing my clientele is participating in events that allows me to display my product and have the opportunity meet clients in person to show them my product and share with them what I do, how I do it and why I do it.
