Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Eddie Grigorian. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Eddie, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Before we get into specifics, let’s talk about success more generally. What do you think it takes to be successful?
There are many forms of success and can be fulfilled in many ways. Consistency, persistence, patience, drive, and discipline will full anyone succeed. Taking “no” as motivation and learning from each failure. Each experience and event is a learning moment. When I first started my business, 9 out of 10 of those who would reach out would say no for many reason. I did not let it discourage me, instead used it as motivation. You learn early on to stick with your beliefs/values and to keep moving forward. Once you figure out not to take “no” personally, you become stronger. The next client/customer could the one you have been waiting for.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I have always had a passion of taking care of others and hosting events at home and work. When I was in college, I was working as a marketing coordinator at a law firm planning corporate events and outings. Ranching from fundraisers, dinner meetings, golf tournaments, casino nights, and general business functions. I learned early on, I truly enjoyed the challenge of putting together events and the feeling you have after it is a success, which is indescribable. Once I have completed an event, I like to take on a new challenge and gave bartending a chance. I completed bartending school in three months and starting bartending for a company making minimum wage. I did not get the same satisfaction while bartending as I did putting events together. The only way it was going to change, was starting my own business. With a vision in my head, it was time to go on my own. No doubt it was very scary, but the rewards out way anything I could have imagined. I created Classic21 Bartending Services and knew the only I was going to set myself apart was to provide exceptional service.

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
Easy, “word of mouth” will always win over any client. Personalize and building a strong rapport will go further than any money you send on advertising. It is more important to have lifetime client, instead of only one time. The more time you put into getting to know client, the more will get out of it. Always been available and responsive when you can.

Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
You always want to follow up with your clients after the event and continue you do so each year. Staying consistent with your follow up will earn loyalty and respect. I provide a specific service every event, which no other company provides. It is going the extra 10 miles which will set yourself apart.
