The most meaningful project I’ve worked on, is the album I’m currently working on.

“Homunculus: The Rebirth”
Which comes out sometime in the fall.

There’s going to be a lot of vulnerable places I go on this album with a lot of my past experiences. It gets dark.

Echo Grim is a recording artist from upstate NY, growing up with the likes of Travie McCoy from gym class heroes and not too far from where post Malone is from and many other talented artists.

Echo Grim is a captivating recording artist whose music dives deep into the realm of goth indie pop & hiphop, With a distinctive blend of haunting melodies bouncy rhythms,and atmospheric soundscapes and dark lyrics , Echo’s work reflects a taste for the macabre. His lyrics explore themes of loss, love, romance, desire, ‘mental illness, existential dread, and the complexities of identity, creating a chilling yet deeply resonant listening experience.

In 2024, Echo dropped his highly anticipated album, “The Lazarus Effect.” This project further solidified their reputation as an artist unafraid to confront the darker aspects of life. The tracks on the album weave together eerie soundscapes and poignant storytelling, drawing listeners into a world where beauty and darkness coexist. The haunting melodies linger long after the music stops, leaving an indelible mark on anyone who encounters their work.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?

People relating to the music, singing along and feeling like someone understands them.

Looking back, are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?

Everything I learned I wish I knew before, There’s a lot of gatekeeping in the industry where they like to prevent people from moving ahead and the more I learn the faster I move ahead the more I kind of resent people that I’ve met that are more successful than myself that haven’t shared these tips and basically secrets.
