We recently connected with Ebony Scott and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Ebony , thanks for joining us today. Do you feel you or your work has ever been misunderstood or mischaracterized? If so, tell us the story and how/why it happened and if there are any interesting learnings or insights you took from the experience?
Yes sometimes as a blogger people tend to always think you’re lying or bash you for reporting on their favorite celebrities it can become a head ache at times. I hate when people try to comment underneath my post trying to compare me to taska K when I never put my personal into any story that I post. I always learned to fact check before I post a story because you’re creditably is everything. You don’t wanna be known as a messy blogger it’s not a good look, so it really gets on my nerves because they’re on the outside looking in they don’t understand how hard I work to make sure they get great accurate information so sometimes to avoid confrontation I just turn off my comments in simply keep it moving it’s not worth arguing over.

Ebony , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I always love music my father was Ice-T bodyguard for a long time, he also wrote music. Which inspired me to write Music as well, i was always around Music. music was very much played in my house I always knew that I would either sing or write music it was always my passion. How I got into the industry when I was 16 I was a big fan of an Atlanta Rap artist by the name of Dolla he had passed away but I always kept in touch with his family in other fans. His mother seen how hard I would go for Dolla in how much of a big fan I was. So one day she had asked me if I could be the social media manager for Dolla fan page basically update the fans on news new music interviews etc for Dolla Scrapp Delon and sass and the family of course she felt I had a strong influence on the fans so she thought I would be perfect for the job. I did that On and off for 4 year’s then I went on to become an independent artist manager helping new artist break into the music industry. I had 4 artist around that time then life happened in I had took a break until 2018 that’s when I got my first job as a content creator/ journalist working for the blogssip in that’s when I learn the in’s and out of the industry and how to be a blogger I departed from the blogssip that same year and started my own Media Company SpillinJuices in I have been running my own company ever sense

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
How I built was by being myself and being very honest I think a lot of times people do anything for clout lie on entertainers or make jokes put their personal feelings into it and that’s not what your supposed to do even do the lies get more views but you won’t be deemed trustworthy. Some people may not like my stories and might not care for me but they have no other choose but to respect me because all my stories have been Verified and other media outlets have even gave me my credit which solidified me. So at first it wasn’t easy when I first start I had gotten deleted 3 times but once I created that last page I just kept the same motivation in walk by faith not by sight in my social media eventually started growing
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
I grew up in foster care so for me music has always been my therapy I always found a safe haven in music. I always had a big heart I always love helping people and when it’s come to blogging I always wanted to know the inside scoop about celebrities the truth it was always important to me to be able to understand both sides so if I was to ever become a singer or actress or songwriter I would know the ends and out of the industry so I really study it hard in give it my all because this is my passion.
