Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?

I’d love to share a story about a challenging interview with an artist from Germany during my journey with 14keytv.

One day, we had the opportunity to interview a talented artist from Germany. While our enthusiasm was high, there was one significant hurdle we had to overcome: language barriers. The artist primarily spoke German, and our team’s proficiency in the language was limited.

Resilience became the name of the game. We didn’t let the language barrier deter us from capturing this artist’s unique story and talent. To bridge the gap, we employed the help of a skilled interpreter who could translate the conversation in real-time. This added complexity to the interview, but it was a necessary step to ensure that we could truly understand the artist and vice versa.

The interview proceeded, and although it was challenging, the artist’s passion and creativity shone through. The language barrier, instead of being a barrier, became a unique element of the interview. It encouraged us to find new ways to connect and communicate, highlighting the universal language of art and music.

In the end, we not only successfully conducted the interview but also built a memorable and inspiring narrative of resilience, unity, and the power of artistic expression that transcends borders and languages. Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?

I started without a job after finishing school, with no clear career path in sight. Recognizing my interest in finance and accounting, I decided to pursue a college education at Post University. This shift from unemployment to studying was challenging, but it provided me with the skills and knowledge to become an accountant. It’s a reminder that with determination and education, you can transition from uncertainty to a fulfilling career.
