We were lucky to catch up with Ebony Lambert recently and have shared our conversation below.
Ebony, appreciate you joining us today. Do you wish you had waited to pursue your creative career or do you wish you had started sooner?
I absolutely would’ve started sooner. I started seriously vlogging and content creation in 2018. I was a college student and cna. Starting sooner would’ve helped me find my niche faster and I would have a better understanding of how I want my content to look. I was very hesitant to start but I’ve learned it doesn’t matter how you start, just start the journey.

Ebony, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
So I’m currently an esthetician student and beauty/fashion content creator. I started esthetician due to my own skin issues and I know how much a person’s confidence can be affected by their skin. I provide facials, waxing, body treatments, and make-up services. I’m most proud of how finding esthetics has helped me find my path. For years, I was kind of stuck on where I wanted my career path to go. I really want to help people build their confidence and feel their best. So let me help take care of that acne, those dark spots. Whatever it takes.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
My goal is to be happy. Being a creative gives me the chance to have so much self expression that I was not allowed to have. This journey is about healing and learning. The money will come, I’m sure but being happy with the woman I am, is the most important.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
It’s definitely seeing your work being appreciated. In the age of social media, you’re getting reactions in real time and to see people resonate with something you’ve created, its amazing.
