We recently connected with Eboni Stiff and have shared our conversation below.
Eboni, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What do you think it takes to be successful?
It takes faith, consistency and a great support system to be successful. I live with the understanding that I will be blessed with what I am supposed to have, no matter what.
Success does not come over night and that is one of the most important things to understand. Constantly working towards the vision and having a great support system that believes in you equals success.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I am a Miami, Florida native. I moved to Tampa after graduating from Miami Northwestern Senior High School, to attend the University of South Florida. After college, I decided to make Tampa, Florida my home. I have a masters degree in Social Work, my bail bonds license and my Florida Brokers License for real estate. It’s my desire to help others in any way that I can. I initially got into bail bonds while I was home, receiving treatment for breast cancer. I was home, very little income and two children to support. I was receiving chemo treatment once every three weeks and it was tough. However, the bills didn’t care about my situation. My sister (rest her soul) was arrested and my family turned to me for answers. It was at that time, I decided I could help others, be my own boss and finish cancer treatment. In short, Speedy Bris Bail Bonds was formed. 12 years later, I am still helping families by assisting their loved ones be released from jail after an arrest.
As for real estate, I am the Broker Associate for Allure Realty in Tampa, Florida. I wanted to help others understand that obtaining homeownership or selling your home to secure financial freedom is a possibility. When I am able to educate my clients, we all win.
What sets me apart is my love for people and my willingness to go above and beyond to get the job done.
How’d you meet your business partner?
I met my Broker, Sharelle Rosado, from sports. Our children were on the same track team. We spent countless hours together at practice, track meets, and on road trips. It was through our children’s sports that we were able to develop a friendship.
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
In 2022, I went into the hospital for an outpatient surgical procedure. The doctor made a mistake and almost cost me my life. An outpatient procedure, turned into an emergency surgery three days later. Ultimately, my choices were to get a colostomy bag or die. I chose the colostomy bag and I was in the hospital for 20 days, trying to survive. During that time, I lost clients, deals fell apart, my children felt scared and alone.
Instead of feeling sorry for myself, I decided to get covers for the colostomy bag, go out in public without hiding it and recover everything I lost.
