We were lucky to catch up with Eboni Robinson recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Eboni , thanks for joining us today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
I love what I do in this industry because I love to make people not only feel, but look beautiful in everything they do. My biggest goal yet is to provide organic hair products that will help with hair loss, alopecia, bad scalp conditions, and make the hair grow thicker and stronger. This opportunity will be super beneficial to many women and men who struggle with hair and scalp issues; also provide safe and effective ways to maintain a healthier scalp and hair. What a good way to brighten up your day by getting your hair done or a nice scalp message. My mission is to enlarge the focus on how important it is to have a healthy scalp and hair!
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Honestly my mom inspired me to become a hairstylist! She pushed me non stop to go to school & get my license. At first I didn’t take hair seriously, but it was just a trade to fall back on. Hair was never my passion at first. I started to do hair to only help create an easier work schedule for myself to be able to go to pharmacy school, but God had other plans for me. I love what I do in the beauty industry now and can’t wait to expand in all aspects in this industry.
For my brand I provide scalp and hair treatments and beautiful soft styling for my beautiful clients. I find the problems for my clients with their hair health and always offer the proper organic solution for them to excel in their healthy hair journey with me. Most of the products used on my clients are organic and are completely safe for their bodies. So they don’t have to worry about any bad side effects down the line with their hair health.
What set me apart from other stylists is that I truly care. Not only for their hair but for THEM! I want to see my clients excel not only in their healthy hair and scalp journey but in their lives in general. When you look and actually feel better, then you will do better in your life, especially when you have genuine support to help hold you up. I am EBBY SLAYED THE DAY♥︎
I’m extremely proud of my growth, I’m proud of the women/stylist I am and most importantly the women I’m becoming to better serve my clients and the people around me. I truly appreciate the chance to teach my clients better and healthier ways to grow and maintenance their hair.
What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
The best source for me to attract new clients is “Word of mouth”. I love when people refer me to others and can truly elaborate their experience to others so that the person want to come see on their own. I also love social media, its another good way I source my brand to others.
Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
A most effective way to grow my clientele is through collaboration and social media. Collabs are definitely a great source to gain new clients. Also consistency on social media is good too! but social media is more personal because you have to build a relationship with your followers so that they are wanting to come to try the experience for themselves and not just on the screen.
