Ebodio , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.
Ever since I was young I wanted to be a famous singer/rapper. I’ve always dreamed of seeing my name in lights and people screaming for me. I’ve always had the music in my heart and soul. Even in elementary school my music teacher said he knew I’d be a great singer. I’ve just been learning and grinding my way to the top.
Ebodio , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Well I’m sadspaceboiii! I make music for people who feel misunderstood and feel they can’t get away from the horrible things around them that they despise. Just your everyday sad boy with a space twist all of my own. I’ve been making music seriously for about 3 years. Pushing and tying to find every bit of information I can I put it all together in music. Building a fanbase on multiple platforms raising awareness for Alien Gang so everyone knows we’re here to stay. It’s tough doing everything on your own mostly.
What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
I just want to be happy. Music makes me happy. I still can’t believe I make money from doing it. I just want my family and I to thrive while I make music.
In your view, what can society to do to best support artists, creatives and a thriving creative ecosystem?
Show more love and kindness. Just because something is different doesn’t make it bad. Give people chances and see them through your own view. Life is to short to miss out on chances because you think someone wouldn’t do the same for you.
