For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
For me, the most rewarding aspect of being an actor lies in the ability to touch people’s lives through storytelling. As actors, we have the incredible privilege of engaging with audiences on an emotional level, evoking laughter, tears, or a profound sense of empathy. When a performance resonates with someone, when it leaves them inspired, moved, or even changed, it is an indescribable feeling of accomplishment.
Acting allows us to explore the depths of human emotions, to step into the shoes of different characters, and to bring their stories to life. Through our performances, we have the power to provoke thought, challenge perspectives, and ignite conversations. We can shed light on important social issues, evoke empathy for diverse experiences, and create a shared understanding among people from all walks of life.
Are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?
Most of the resources that I use before I currently use now. There is one tool that definitely cut out the middleman when getting an agent or a manager. If you have a profile with actorsaccess.com, there’s a link that’s call Talent link that allowed you to send your headshot and resumes to agents and managers with one click of a button.
