Earlene , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?
I’ve always wanted to model since I was a preteen so in October 2020 that’s what I did. I drove 10 hours to West 38 a photographic studio in the heart of New York City. They gave me my first real on location experience working with a creative team and from there it was up . In March 2021, . I found a talent agency, took the course and was signed in July 2021 with their agency.
Earlene , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I’ve always wanted to model since I was a preteen so in October 2020 that’s what I did. I drove 10 hours to West 38 a photographic studio in the heart of New York City. They gave me my first real on location experience working with a creative team and from there it was up . In March 2021, . I found a talent agency, took the course and was signed in July 2021 with their agency. Changes I’ve seen in me is my confidence ,I have way more of it and not just with modeling. I have confidence in everything I do. I let nothing get in my way. The biggest highlight in my career so far for me was when I was In a movie as a background extra in March of 2022 . I got to meet the actor Terrence Howard on set. I’ve taken multiple workshops on modeling and acting . I’ve been published in magazines multiple times since Ive started modeling. This 2023 year I’ve been in a commercial for the first Time and also experienced walking In a fashion show for the first time, and now I’ve been casted for my first feature /speaking role in the movie COLOR BLIND – a Michael Steven- Paul film (Mikey Jay) . I’m very grateful and happy to have this opportunity.
My goal which I want to achieve in my career is just all-around success. I want to see myself in magazines, runway shows, movies and etc. My goals for the near future are to continue what I’m doing now, and that’s taking classes to perfect my craft in this industry. I’m going to continue going to castings and working with Photographer ‘s and other creatives.
What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
Yes , being financially free and completely comfortable and happy on earth is the main goal. My son inspires me the most, him just being on earth drives me to keep going. He gives me something to look forward to everyday. He is a part of me and my mission on this journey im taking.
Are there any books, videos or other content that you feel have meaningfully impacted your thinking?
