Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Earl Taylor. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Earl , thanks for joining us today. Let’s jump to the end – what do you want to be remembered for?
The legacy I am hoping to build is something my daughters are proud of. Representation of fathers especially Black fathers to girls is something that is not talked about enough, and is not taken seriously enough. I want my daughters to see their father leave behind something not only they can be proud of, something that they can take over, but most importantly see what a man who provides for his family looks like. I think others outside of them would look at my legacy in remembrance as someone who was intelligent, took chances, creative, and had fun doing it with his friends and family the right way.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
We are a mobile juice bar out of Springfield, OH. We serve cold pressed juices, and lavender lemonade. Months before covid we sat down as a group and wanted to start a business and felt the juice bar idea was the most ready to go. What sets us apart is not only our flavors but the experience. We have an aura around us that nobody has to be someone other than themselves around the business and customers just gravitate. We love to collaborate with community programs, and meaningful events in our communities across the state.

We’d love to hear about how you met your business partner.
Myself and the co-owner Craig Williams met in 1997 in 7th grade at Hayward Middle School in Springfield, OH. From that point we have been friends and became family. From football to video games, to the mischief that comes with being a kid. Craig is an Air Force veteran and around the time he was getting out of the service I approached him with the idea of going into business together. It sat for a few years then we got the crew together and the rest is history.

How do you keep your team’s morale high?
Main thing is be honest, respectable and be you. Understand that the people who work for/with you have lives, and things that go on outside of the business. Remember that business is fun don’t get into if it’s not fun. Have team outings and all that stuff because care goes a long way.
