Earl, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What’s been the most meaningful project you’ve worked on?
My first EP, that came out in September. It was really great to finally get some music into the word. It was something I’d always wanted to do, but never thought I actually would.
Earl, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I’m a 30 year old singer/songwriter from Louisville Kentucky. I’m pretty new to music, but I’ve been doing my best to make a name for myself. I just released my first EP and I’m about to head back to the studio to record my next EP.
What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
My goal is to just do the best I can. Of course I do have some specific goals, like venues I want to play, and artists I’d like to do shows with. But I’ve always lived by the notion that if you keep at something, good things will happen.
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
Having a really good crowd always is the most rewarding thing in music. Even a small crowd can be a great one.
