We were lucky to catch up with E Morgan recently and have shared our conversation below.
E, appreciate you joining us today. Learning the craft is often a unique journey from every creative – we’d love to hear about your journey and if knowing what you know now, you would have done anything differently to speed up the learning process.
Learning the craft of singing was very fun. Just a quick synopsis, I started singing gospel music growing up, but I knew to be great you had to know more about music so I study to get my degree in Music Performance and learned my voice through different gigs and experiences.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
E. Morgan is an American recording artist based in Atlanta, Georgia. At an early age, E. Morgan was recognized for his exceptional vocal abilities which afforded him the opportunity to open shows for such legends as the Temptations, James Brown, and EnVogue.
E. Morgan’s musical journey continued as a member of The Richmond Boys Choir, The Richmond Ambassadors of Music and the Chowan Singers from Chowan University where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Vocal Performance in 2015. During his tenure in these groups, Morgan’s many experiences include performances in Europe, Central America and even the Whitehouse! Shortly after college, E opened his owned Vocal Academy called E. Morgan Music that focuses on enhancing the overall person musicianship.
I am currently signed with Four Times Entertainment out of LA singing with The Company Men & RWS singing with an Acapella group called Major Fourth.
With the motto, “Freedom, Energy, Frequency, and Vibration,” E. Morgan has embarked on a solo recording career with his sights firmly set on bringing a unique sound.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
I remember growing up I always knew I could sing, direct choirs and song write but when I started getting in the realm of production work and musical theatre it was a bit unfamiliar. I remember being selected to do a contract but I was so unprepared that I couldn’t finish the contract with them. And in that I could have gave up singing and thought as myself as a failure but I didn’t. I thought of it as an event. It comes and it goes YOU can only make failure a lifestyle. So I kept moving and hustling and grinding to not only now be in 1 production show, but 2 production shows with one being a 5 months tour. So totally blessed for perseverance .

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
For me I love to travel and meet people from all over the world. I love to meet people and immediately see them in their element. I love creating your on time. Getting things done and giving your self time to reset is super important.
