We recently connected with Dylan Daniels and have shared our conversation below.

Dylan, appreciate you joining us today. Learning the craft is often a unique journey from every creative – we’d love to hear about your journey and if knowing what you know now, you would have done anything differently to speed up the learning process.

When it came to learning things such as music, it always came from a place of curiosity and just having fun. With that mindset it never really felt like a chore learning anything but more therapeutic in way, something to do in my down time. Eventually with keep going at it and you began to pick of things along the way adding to your skill set. YouTube played a big part in it because there’s so much you can learn on the site. Once I started to realize I was making good progress, I started to take it a bit more seriously and started to learn the fundamentals and work my way up from there.

Dylan, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

For those who don’t know me I go by the name DMD. I do a lot of different things such as video editing, music production, photography and recently I’ve been practicing 3D animation. I provide a lot of different services from creating beats, mixing audio for artists and even shooting videos. I also have my own creative works I create and put out. Being a jack of all trade and D.I.Y type of creator is something I take pride in. I love to learn to create different things and finding ways to incorporate it in my current skill set.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

For me, one of the rewarding aspect is seeing someone enjoying that piece of work just as much as I did it. It helps encourage me to put and share even more.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?

I would say my goal as a creative is to keep learning to the point that I can come up with a concept in my head and be able to execute it the way I vision.
