We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Dwayne Green. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Dwayne below.
Dwayne, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What did your parents do right and how has that impacted you in your life and career?
My parents did an amazing job raising me from a boy to a man. My father really wasn’t in my life for the most part but I always had my mother and also my grandmother. My mom was always there for me. These two women showed me so much support that I was designed for greatness. As a kid I always wanted my Dad to be by my side however he had deceased in 2007 from lung cancer. After his death my grandmother(his mom) took his spot and gave me the love I wish my father did. I didn’t want to go to college but I received multiple scholarships and a full ride to attend so why not give it a chance? I graduated with my associates and bachelors degree in business. Shortly after graduating I thought I found a career job where I can make good income and enjoy life. After 5 years of working for that company I got discouraged due to no promotion or growth. My grandmother became ill so I decided to go part time to help take care of her. I spoke to my grandmother and told her that I’m interested in doing films and becoming an actor. She said baby go after your dream I can’t wait to see you on the big screen and hopefully one of Tyler Perry movies. I starting to pursue my actor career but wasn’t getting selected for auditions. Shortly after a few months my grandmother passed and I broke down so bad. I got to the point where I quit my job and pursued my actor career. I started getting emails from directors asking me to come be apart of films. I was overjoyed because I’ve finally started to get noticed. I have been to 4 films this year 3 which I am in. Needless to say my parents did a fantastic job keeping me out of trouble and raising me right.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your background and context?
For starters My name is Dwayne Green, I am a husband, father of 2 girls, an actor and entrepreneur. I am currently 31 years old with a bachelor’s degree in supervision & management. I got into the Acting Industry on my own. I am currently a freelance actor and submit my own self for auditions. I do want to be apart if a talent agency eventually when I become more noticed. What sets me apart from others is my drive for success. I am very hard working and capable of my abilities to showcase my talents. I am most proud of being the man I am today by always keeping my family first as my main priority as well as enjoying my actor career. At first I was nervous about doing acting but as time went on I enjoy what I do. The main things I want potential clients/followers/fans to know about me is that Dwayne Green always puts his best work forward. I speak positivity by promoting myself to influencer others to show them the greatness built inside them. I come from a place where having high hopes and dreams are achievable.
Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
The most effective strategy for growing my clientele I would say is social media. Having social media brings awareness of who I am. From Facebook, to instagram, to twitter, now TikTok. You can find all my media accounts @iamdwaynegreen. I enjoy having fun and living my best life while growing my clientele.

If you could go back, would you choose the same profession, specialty, etc.?
If I could go back I would not have chosen the same profession. I wanted to become a pilot. I feel as this profession I would have found great deeds of success but would also have less time with my family. I know you would have to attend flight school to learn everything about flying a plane. Thus to I would probably get over my fear of being afraid of heights.
