Alright, Duniel thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. When did you first know you wanted to pursue a creative/artistic path professionally?

The first time I knew I wanted to pursue my DJ career professionally was back when I was 11 years back in my country of Cuba. I used to organize house parties for friends and family and I would play music from cassettes and everyone always had a good time and occasionally requested me to go play at their parties. As I moved to the US I started doing bigger events and started learning all types of genres. At the age of 15 I already had professional DJ equipment and was working on private events. From there my artistic path as a professional DJ and Entertainer took off and as of 2025 I do around an average 50 weddings a year in addition to corporate events, Quinces and other types of events. I have also become a full service entertainment provider offering not only DJ services but also musicians, photobooth, light and special effects, bands, performers and much more.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

My name is Duniel but everyone calls me “Duni” and I own my full service entertainment company named “DJ Duni Entertainment”. I got into the DJ industry because I love the feeling of entertaining people and working with clients on their events needs and have been entertaining now for over 25 years. I’m a strong believer that every event whether is a wedding, birthday, corporate, quinces or others that the logistics and music is never the same. With this said this is one of the factors that sets me apart, we provide a custom experience for every event. We provide to all of our clients access to our “Event Planning App” which clients can add their music choices, special dances and just customize their whole event. Once our clients complete all their event details we setup a phone meeting to discuss all the details and we create an event timeline which is usually done by event planners or coordinators however we take that extra step to ensure we meet 100% of our clients expectations when it comes to Master of Ceremony, Music details and any other service we provide.

Based out of Florida specifically in the Broward and Dade County area we work events all over Florida and I have done destination weddings in the Dominican Republic. Myself and my team of DJs are experienced in working with clients from different cultures and nationalities. We have lots of experience with Latin, American, Caribbean, Haitian, Persian, Pakistani, Indian, African, Jewish, Christian and much more.

Dj Duni Entertainment is not just a DJ company but also a full entertainment provider so it’s a one-stop shop for our clients, the more services and products they add the better deals they get. Our two most popular services we are proud to offer are the Open Air Photobooth which comes with an attendant, choice of prints and/or SMS, Professional DSLR quality photos and high quality props. Our 2nd photobooth is our 360 Video Booth which our clients can customize the song of choice and design, and comes with an attendant and high quality props.

In addition we provide professional musician services like Violinists and Sax players for our clients cocktail, ceremony and dinners. What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?

The most rewarding aspect of being an artist is to receive positive feedback from all of my clients and to see everyone enjoying my services.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

My mission is to continue to keep growing as a professional DJ and entertainer and to continue to enhance all of the services and products I offer.
