Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Ducky Animations. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Ducky, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Learning the craft is often a unique journey from every creative – we’d love to hear about your journey and if knowing what you know now, you would have done anything differently to speed up the learning process.
Well, my journey into the world of digital art began with a deep passion for creativity and expression. Growing up, I was always fascinated by art, but was never good at physical drawing and painting. Determined to pursue my passion, I turned to the digital realm.
I started experimenting with various 3D software and Photoshop, teaching myself the ropes through online tutorials, forums, and trial and error. It was challenging at first, navigating the complexities of digital tools, but I was driven by my love for art and the desire to share my creations with the world.
As I honed my skills, I began to produce artwork that resonated with people. Using 3D software allowed me to bring my imagination to life in ways I never thought possible, while Photoshop gave me the freedom to refine and polish my creations to perfection.
Over time, my art gained traction and started to be shared across the world (Thanks to Art Innovation Gallery based out of Milan, Italy), touching the hearts of people from different walks of life. It’s been a rewarding journey, filled with learning, growth, and endless possibilities. I’m grateful for the opportunities digital art has given me to connect with others and share my passion with the world.
Ducky, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My journey into the world of digital art began during the Covid lockdown when I stumbled upon a captivating YouTube video showcasing 3D animation and art. Instantly fascinated, I delved into learning the craft, experimenting with various techniques and software.
I started sharing my creations on Instagram, where I’ve been fortunate to amass a following of over 20k supporters. What sets my work apart is its unique nature; each piece I create is a fresh exploration of ideas and concepts, ensuring that my audience is always greeted with something new and exciting.
One aspect that defines my style is my use of blending real-world photos into 3D artwork, creating a seamless fusion of the tangible and the digital. This approach adds depth and authenticity to my creations, setting them apart from conventional digital art.
I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with celebrities and influential personalities, bringing my art to new audiences and sparking meaningful connections. What I’m most proud of is the ability to evoke emotions and inspire creativity through my work.
For potential clients and followers, I want them to know that I’m committed to pushing the boundaries of digital art, constantly evolving and innovating to deliver captivating and impactful experiences. Whether it’s through unique visual storytelling or immersive 3D environments, I strive to leave a lasting impression and create art that resonates with people on a deeper level.
Can you share your view on NFTs? (Note: this is for education/entertainment purposes only, readers should not construe this as advice)
My view on NFTs is quite positive. I see them as a revolutionary tool for artists to showcase and monetize their work in a digital landscape. NFTs provide a unique opportunity for artists to connect directly with their audience, offering a way to share their creations securely and transparently while maintaining ownership rights. Additionally, the concept of scarcity and uniqueness inherent in NFTs adds value both for creators and collectors, fostering a sense of exclusivity and authenticity. Overall, I believe NFTs have the potential to reshape the art world, empowering artists and collectors alike in ways that were previously unimaginable.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
The most rewarding aspect of my art lies in the boundless freedom it grants me to bring my eccentric and unique imagination to life. Through my creations, I have the privilege of opening the doors to my inner world, inviting others to explore and experience the landscapes of my mind. Whether it’s conjuring fantastical creatures, crafting surreal environments, or weaving intricate narratives, each piece I create is a testament to the limitless possibilities of creativity.
What truly makes this journey fulfilling is the ability to inspire others. To know that my art has the power to evoke emotions, spark curiosity, and ignite imagination in those who encounter it is an immensely gratifying feeling. Whether it’s through a shared moment of wonder, a poignant reflection, or a burst of creativity, the connections forged through my art are deeply meaningful to me.
Moreover, the opportunity to meet new people and engage with a diverse community of fellow artists, enthusiasts, and admirers is another rewarding aspect of my artistic journey. Through collaborations, exhibitions, and online interactions, I’ve had the pleasure of connecting with individuals from all walks of life, each bringing their own perspective and insights to the table. These interactions not only enrich my own artistic practice but also foster a sense of belonging and camaraderie within the creative community.
