Hi Dsto , thanks for joining us today. We’d love to hear the backstory behind a risk you’ve taken – whether big or small, walk us through what it was like and how it ultimately turned out.

Well on September 13,2018,I took a leap of Faith to go after my Dreams of being a Full-time Freelance Photographer,it was one of the scariest days of my life but I knew it would be worth it in the long run,4 years later I’m glad that I took that risk,im still learning alot about photography and about who I am as a person

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers

Well my name is Dsto Moore,D.S.T.O means Dont Stop Trying Overcome,I am an Freelance photographer located in Macon,Ga. I have been doing photography around 8 years now but only 4 of them full time,I love to photograph people in their natural environments,I believe it tells their stories better in my opinion,I have highlighted over 200 + people over the years,It’s all about giving them their Flowers while they still can smell them,I pride myself on being a very Diverse photographer that has photographed people from All Demographics,Races,Genders,Religions and Sexualities. I have highlighted people over the years that have passed away,the only Good picture of them there family has of them are the ones I took,to me photography is way bigger than just taking a photo,it’s History..

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?

History is Driving my mission,knowing that the portraits I’m doing right will be apart of History in the next 20 years,my creative journey is way Bigger than me because I’m doing something that one day possibly my Great Great Grandchildren will being viewing in a Museum one day.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?

The smiles on the people faces when I take their photos or photos of there loves ones,alot of people have not really had professional photos taken of themselves before,so my mission is to make a impact on someone’s life,it’s way bigger than Money,Tv Interviews or Awards because those are just bonuses of me making an impact on others lives
