Dricka, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today How did you scale up? What were the strategies, tactics, meaningful moments, twists/turns, obstacles, mistakes along the way? Absolutely, the path to success is often a long and challenging journey filled with ups, downs, and countless learning experiences. Achieving significant growth in a business involves much more than meets the eye. It’s about time we share the real and inspiring stories of scaling up.
With my personal brand, I was able to scale quickly because I had built successful businesses before but building a personal brand is much harder in my experience. I hired immediately instead of once the business got up and running like I had done before with previous businesses. I vocalized my needs, deal breakers and gave clarity on expectations of roles which I had struggled with in the past. I knew going in I had to created FAQs and solutions to issues prior to them arising. I’ve embraced this journey and want to provide a transparent look into how I scaled up. My story is a testament to years of determination, innovation, and resilience. I understand the importance of sharing the real details to inspire others on their own entrepreneurial journey. Consistency, content and creating a digital footprint are key indicators of success.

How do you keep your team’s morale high?
My advise is add value to your team, encourage continuing education, implement mental wellness as well as additional opportunities. Ask for constructive feedback from your employees and team & discuss why or why not if their feedback could be implemented within the company.
Have an open communication policy.
How did you put together the initial capital you needed to start your business?
I started all of my businesses in the past from bootstrapping and financial investments from my father. For my personal brand, I used the infamous OPM. I had finally reached a place financially and credit wise to use OPM prior to launching, I simultaneously built my digital footprint prior to putting a price on my expertise.
