Alright, Drew thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Do you manage your own social media?
We actually do everything in-house, my husband is the creative one! He’s more tech savvy than I am. He actually learned a lot about social media during the pandemic because of going viral on TikTok. So understanding algorithms and knowing how to target a specific audience helped in growing our business to what it is today!

I believe what sets us apart from any other beauty/skincare/wellness brand is the fact that we are ok staying in our lane.
Many time i’ve wanted to try the hottest, newest thing but i was afraid of being judged or being in an awkward situation . Judged because im a 6’1 180lb man asking for my Booty to get waxed by a 5’3 female. The imagery is actually hysterical, but the actual situation is mortifying. I wanted to create a place that people felt comfortable showing me an ingrown on their butt, or the dark spots that makes them feel insecure. The way we achieve this is by making Butts & Booty normal topics of conversations. Here at BootyBoss LA we want you to feel great about your booty AND your skin!! As for me personally: Let’s go back to the beginning when it all started. For years I battled with ongoing weight, health, and relationship issues. With all of that nonsense floating around my head, I struggled to create a positive image of myself. At 354 pounds, let’s just say the word “sexy” was not how I felt or saw myself. Nice clothes, fancy cars, high paying job would change all of that.. right? Wrong! I eventually lost weight and hoped it would usher in changes inside. Being seen as attractive didn’t make me feel better. I felt worse.
I was blessed to find a partner who saw the “sexiness” within me that I was searching for. Through him, I finally met and saw my real self. He loves me whether larger or small, through flaws and all. I found out that I didn’t have all of the answers and I had to be ok with that. However, by surrounding ourselves with people who see in us things we cannot, we change. I loved this man with all of my heart, and in that moment I wanted to change for us both.
Self love and self care were now at the forefront of my mind. Paired with diet, exercise, meditation, and kindness, I recommitted to a healing journey that was deep and lasting. There is no end to this story because the journey continues.

The major driving factor for me each and everyday is my family. Generational financial freedom is and will continue to be. That is what gets me out of bed in the morning.
Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
Social media is a game changer, more than i would like to give credit. We were able to build our following organically, humbly, and trial & error. It was very hard to get people to believe in a service that requires you to show your butt to a total stranger. We were asking people to be venerable and show us a part of you that until now you kept hidden. Figure out who your audience is and what do they like. Collaborate with models whom your audience follow, a familiar face is easy to trust. If your audience sees people whom they double tap every photo, more likely to get a visit to your page.
