Dream, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today How did you come up with the idea for your business?

The idea to create the birth of PinkMagicByDream all started one day when I purchased hair from someone prior. After having issues and spending such a huge amount of money I said to myself , why not start my own business selling hair at a reasonable price with great quality. The idea sounded amazing at the time I was bartending in a strip club so the audience was there. I’ve always gotten compliments on my hair styles because of the colors I chose to do on myself that helped with the interest. Finding a vendor and logo came easy to me because I was fortunate to know two people who provided me with that free information compared to others wanting extreme prices for something google has as well. I just knew that this would be my field of success due to knowing how it feels to spend a lot of money on hair and the hair was a bad batch and not receiving respectable customer service, I wanted to provide others a better experience with my business.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

My name is Dream. I started my business in 2018. I started PinkMagicByDream off by selling bundles in silk bags. Eventually, I started adding new things to my business little by little with wigs handmade & machine-made, hoodies, vegan & animal cruelty-free lipglosses, rose & mint lip oils, eyelash serum, hats and headbands. Newly added are my wick soy candles. PinkMagicByDream is a Beauty & Hair Business that consists of Bundles, Full Lace, Machine Made Wigs, Headbands, Vegan & Animal Cruelty-Free Lipgloss and Lip Liners Rose-Mint Petal Lip Oils, Hair Coloring Services, Lash Serum and Apparel. My business is known for my colorful hoodies and my deep wave hair. Like any business mine has had its ups and downs. My biggest struggle I’d say is exposure and not enough support. People choose to support popularity and even the ones in your corner aren’t much help either. But as I’ve gotten older and expanded my business now my audience target are strangers and paid advertising. I have three loyal clients who all started out skeptical with purchasing first and then receiving the product due to bad quality of never receiving what they ordered and I gained their trust by walking them through my every step upon delivery and shipping and most importantly I provided them with great quality wigs that they still have and mention to me to this day. Things like this make me Proud to know I built that relationship with strangers who are now returning customers. I want people to know when they shop with PINKMAGICBYDREAM the goal is to make sure your 100% satisfied it’s not about a rush sale me. When a customer buys my apparel I want them to say this sweater keeps me warm all the time. When people purchase my hair, I want them to look in the mirror and feel good about themselves, walk outside and feel confident and get multiple compliments because their hair is laid.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

The way I built my audience on social media is making sure I post at a time when everyone seems to post constantly to get the brand attention. But now that social media is changing and it’s all about videos I’m gaining my audience with my reels & TikTok’s. I would tell others keep up with the music with hottest trends for your videos and use hashtags

How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?

I have a email system and automatic reminders for my sales and deals to keep track of my customers
