We were lucky to catch up with Dr. Yolanda P.B. Magwood recently and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, Dr. Yolanda thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Was there a defining moment in your professional career? A moment that changed the trajectory of your career?

My story in a summary… I got pregnant at age 17 my senior year of high school. I graduated June 3rd and Had my daughter July 23rd that same year.

I went into nursing school while working at the nursing home and got injured as a CNA and depression began to take over. Also, I got married on May 31st of that year now I’m a young mother and a young wife at age 18th.

Fast forward years later my daughter, now 17 the curse was broken of early pregnancy. My daughter was told by the admission that she needs to do a physical and the doctor says she’s Pre-diabetic and has cholesterol. I said how? She eats right. This changes my path, as my husband and I open a telecommunication store.

This began my path as a Holistic doctor finding, out the cause of these illnesses and diseases. I then began the process as a Naturopath Doctor for about 7+ years of schooling.

While on this journey I was diagnosed with fibrous which led me to bleed for 6 months straight every day until 2019. I had my death encounter where I saw the bright light and an Angel guiding me to Heaven. Now that’s a story that’s the short version.

A year later my mom was diagnosed with cancer and many others with various life-threatening diagnoses.

God allowed me to work with them all naturally; many are healed to this day.

I’m trying to not make this long. Now, here on July 2 of 2023 my husband’s; grandmother, sister, uncle 2 nieces, and a family friend were murdered by our brother-in-law. Note his sister who was murdered was Managing our Store as we invested in opening my Clinic. Everything shifted.

Then it got deeper a little over 3 months later, my husband got diagnosed with Leukemia. The doctors told me to start making final plans.

In March of that same year, I graduated As a Naturopath doctor. I began to work with my husband Holistically while we were in the hospital for over a month. We came out of the hospital a day before Thanksgiving I began to work even harder with my husband.

In February of 2024, my husband was clear and healed of that disease. The doctors are still puzzled to this day.

In my practice, I work with so many clients and their lives have changed in a major way.

Who would have known me getting pregnant at 17 overcoming against all odds. I’m grateful that God chose me as a business owner and now a Naturopath Doctor to be His vessel in this earthly realm.

My name is Dr. Yolanda P. B. Magwood I’m a certified Natural Health Coach, Natural Health Professional and Practitioner, Master iridologist, and Herbalist, and Traditional Naturopath. I have a podcast talking about health and wellness, I have a mentorship (8 years) group as a life coach to many women and young ladies. I have a podcast called Tea Talk with Prophetess Y talking about real-life issues and past trauma. Along with a podcast Wholistic Talk with Coach, Gear to Your Health is Your Wealth. I have a Holistic and Wellness Practice along with a Health Juice Bar. My goal is to support the whole man meaning spirit, mind, body, and soul.

When my husband checked in the hospital after being diagnosed with leukemia I checked in as well. I was determined he was coming out heal on this side. I had to put my holistic hat on and work tirelessly. While the rest of my life was put on hold. And he came out healed on this side until this day.

Do you think you’d choose a different profession or specialty if you were starting now?

For sure. I only prayed I would have started earlier. So many people are being healed by God. Along with so many generational curses being broken off, so many people’s lives.
