We recently connected with Dr. Nicole Schremp and have shared our conversation below.
Dr. Schremp, appreciate you joining us today. Was there a defining moment in your professional career? A moment that changed the trajectory of your career?
When my second son, Boden, was born, I immediately noticed a persistent head tilt that led to head flattening, along with excessive tension in his tiny body. Despite being a pediatric physical therapist myself, I suddenly found myself on the other side: a worried parent navigating a system that often felt fragmented and reactive. During our NICU stay, I saw firsthand how early asymmetries and body tension can impact a baby’s feeding, sleeping, movement, and milestones. Advocating for Boden and experiencing these challenges firsthand inspired me to start Movevery, a pediatric physical therapy practice dedicated to supporting infants and toddlers with individualized, family-centered care.
Through Boden’s journey, I quickly realized how interconnected the body truly is and witnessed the profound impact hands-on manual therapy can have. I immersed myself in learning more about fascia and pursued continuing education courses, including Gillespie Craniosacral Fascial Therapy, Total Motion Release for Tots, and currently, Beams Craniosacral Therapy. I came to appreciate how the tongue is, quite literally, connected to the toes through the fascial system, and how tension anywhere in the body can affect a baby’s ability to move, sleep, and even feed well. This understanding reinforced for me that holistic pediatric physical therapy isn’t optional; it’s essential. We need to look at the whole child, not just isolated symptoms.
I also became even more committed to providing care that goes beyond treating a diagnosis, care focused on meeting families where they are, empowering them with knowledge, and building relationships founded on trust. This experience strengthened what I already knew: that compassionate, family-centered support is essential for babies and their families to truly thrive. It inspired me to start Movevery, a pediatric physical therapy practice dedicated to supporting infants and toddlers with individualized, family-centered care. At Movevery, we specialize in working with children aged 0-3 years, addressing a wide range of needs, including head preference (torticollis), head shape concerns, gross motor delays, body tension, low tone, tummy time difficulties, reflux, colic, gassiness, and w-sitting, to name a few. Our approach combines innovative techniques with a strong foundation in clinical research, focusing on alleviating tension while improving strength, balance, coordination, and movement quality. We believe early identification and intervention are essential, and we work closely with each child’s care team, including pediatricians, therapists, and specialists, to provide holistic, compassionate support.
Boden’s journey didn’t just change my perspective; it led me to create Movevery and ignited my lifelong mission and passion to empower families and help every little body thrive. At Movevery, we turn milestones into moments of joy together.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
Hi! I’m Dr. Nicole Schremp, a pediatric physical therapist, founder of Movevery, and mom to three young children, plus our ever-faithful dog, Ajax. My husband and I live in Denver, Colorado, where we make the most of the outdoors as a family. When I’m not supporting babies and their families through my work, I find balance through movement, whether it’s running (four marathons, including Boston), practicing yoga, or catching up with friends over a green tea.
How I got into pediatric physical therapy
I originally studied pre-med at the University of Notre Dame, unsure which path I would follow in medicine after graduation. After spending seven years living and working in New York City, I moved to Santa Monica and decided it was time to pursue my true calling. I returned to school to become a physical therapist. As an athlete, I imagined I would work with sports injuries, but everything changed during my first clinical rotation in pediatric home health. That was when I saw the profound impact physical therapy can have in the earliest years of life, and I knew I had found my path.
What I do and the services I provide
Through my practice, Movevery, I specialize in holistic pediatric physical therapy for infants and toddlers from birth to age three. We believe early identification and intervention are key, as a baby’s brain, body, and connections grow rapidly in the first few years of life. I support families navigating concerns such as delayed milestones, torticollis, head flattening, body tension, low tone, tummy time difficulties, w-sitting, reflux, and colic. Our approach emphasizes releasing tension through hands-on therapies, including The Gillespie Approach Craniosacral Fascial Therapy, craniosacral therapy, infant massage, and Total Motion Release Tots. Each treatment plan also includes functional exercises and play-based activities to encourage exploration and help little ones build age-appropriate skills. Sessions take place either in the comfort of a family’s home or in our clinic space at The Denver Village.
How I help families and what sets me apart
What sets Movevery apart is our family-centered, individualized care that blends innovative techniques with a strong foundation in clinical research to nurture each child’s development and well-being. I take a holistic approach to treating the body by addressing tension, asymmetry, and compensations, while empowering parents with practical tools and clear education. I’m passionate about helping caregivers understand what’s happening in their baby’s body so they feel confident and connected as they support their child. My mission is to make early intervention feel nurturing and collaborative, never stressful or checklist-driven.
What I’m most proud of
I’m most proud of creating a space where families feel seen, heard, and genuinely supported. It’s incredibly fulfilling to watch babies and toddlers grow, not just by reaching milestones, but by becoming more comfortable, confident, and at ease in their bodies. The most rewarding part of my work is seeing parents gain clarity and confidence as they learn how to support their little ones and witness the progress unfold.
What I want you to know about me and Movevery
At Movevery, we believe that connection and trust are the foundation of meaningful progress. Before we focus on milestones, we focus on building relationships, because when a baby feels safe and supported, development can begin to unfold. Every baby deserves to move with ease, and every parent deserves to feel empowered. Pediatric physical therapy is not just about reaching milestones; it is also a way to support your baby’s comfort, development, and well-being while strengthening the parent-child bond. Whether you are concerned about head shape, tummy time, or simply want to ensure your baby is moving their best, I am here to support your family every step of the way.

If you could go back, would you choose the same profession, specialty, etc.?
Yes, one thousand times over. I truly believe I have the best job in the world!

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
The most effective strategy for growing Movevery has been building strong, genuine relationships with families and with other providers. Collaboration has been at the heart of my growth. When families feel seen, supported, and empowered, they often share their experience with friends, neighbors, and other parents. And when fellow professionals trust the care I provide, they feel confident referring families who could benefit from my holistic, individualized approach.
Many parents describe my care as kind, patient, and attentive, not only to their baby’s needs but also to their own concerns and emotions as caregivers. They appreciate how I translate complex information into practical tools they can use right away, and how I create a space where they feel confident supporting their child’s development. I often hear how powerful it is to have someone truly listen to both the parent and the baby, and to witness meaningful progress, like a baby who was not crawling beginning to move with confidence within weeks.
Word of mouth has been incredibly powerful, fueled by the trust built through each interaction. Families feel cared for not just during sessions, but in the thoughtful support and follow-up that continues afterward. This sense of ongoing partnership is what inspires them to share their experience with others. At its core, Movevery continues to grow through meaningful relationships and a commitment to collaborative, individualized care.
