Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Dr. Meg Byrne & Dr. Bonnie Brock. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Dr. Meg Byrne &, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to hear the backstory of how you established your own practice.
Dr. Brock was running a successful dietetics and natural health medical practice in Illinois when I proposed a crazy idea. We knew integrative health care was the future of medicine and made a decision to take a leap of faith and open our own integrative clinic. Dr. Brock moved to Arizona to start Acacia Natural Medicine November 2020 and our doors opened January 2021. The obvious first steps were renting an office and furnishing the space. The most important decision we made in the beginning was creating the most supportive and patient-centered care experience possible and the medical technology needed to do so. As a young professional, I would recommend keeping an open mind as changes can be good for your business. Medicine is ever changing and so should a patient experience.
Dr. Meg Byrne &, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

Training and knowledge matter of course, but beyond that what do you think matters most in terms of succeeding in your field?
The most helpful thing for succeeding in your field is surround yourself with people who have done it and done it well. The more you do your craft and receive feedback/criticism, the better you will become. Words of advice: Practice makes progress.
If you could go back, would you choose the same profession, specialty, etc.?
Yes, both Drs. Brock and Byrne are passionate about health and helping.
