We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Dr. Linda Amerson a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Dr. Linda, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We love heartwarming stories – do you have a heartwarming story from your career to share?

One heartwarming story from my career that I look back on includes a hair regrowth transformation of a male college student. The 22 year old college student developed an aggressive form of alopecia areata. His mother found my information on my website, then made an appointment for her son.
After my microscopic Consultation I informed my client I could help him & his condition was reversible.
Our goal was to regrow his hair for his May Graduation. We succeeded!

We began his scalp stimulation treatments in January (a few years ago) and continued until May.
The progress was consistent with using our award-winning products, combined with our Clinic treatments.
His hair regrowth was 100%.
He graduated with confidence restored.
The next chapter of his life began.

My brand is serving the community, with over 40 years of experience. I am a board certified Trichologist, expert in alopecia and scalp disorder conditions. Also, a board certified Holistic Health Practitioner.

Using hair-science, we analyze a client’s hair bulb, scalp tissue, using 3 microscopes.

Polarized Microscope-Informs how healthy the hair bulb shape is growing, water absorption, nutritional absorption, structural damage, hair shaft defects, and genetics severity.

Tricholoscope-Informs a client & they can see visually on my screen what I an describing…their areas of concern, as well as other scalp conditions they may not be aware of. Very eye opening.

Epigenetic Hair Bulb Analysis-Using 4 hair bulbs from the scalp, data is read in 15 mins, then provides a customized Wellness Report. Everything a person has been exposed to, eaten, supplements taken in the past 90 days is revealed in the 37 page Wellness Report, and measures given to correct all concerned areas. Very detailed report.

Purpose with ‘Paying it Forwarded with a monetary Scholarship to a youth affected with alopecia,
between the ages of 16-19. The youth MUST be pursuing College or Trade. This is our 9th Scholarship.

Hair-Science Technology is fascinating!

Putting training and knowledge aside, what else do you think really matters in terms of succeeding in your field?

Tenacity, passion and purpose. Keep a positive mindset to succeed. Surround yourself with people you can learn from.

If you could go back in time, do you think you would have chosen a different profession or specialty?

Yes, I would choose the same profession. I chose a profession not over saturated in the beginning. Now my profession has grown and there are different levels of completion, like the nursing profession for example,

Some people only take the 2-3 day Introduction to Trichology Coarse
Certified Trichologist- Person has completed a
6-12 month program.
Board Certified Trichologist- Person has completed entired Trichology Program, Dissertation researched and Defended in front of a Medical Board.
