Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Dr. Lady Nini. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Dr. Lady Nini, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Setting up an independent practice is a daunting endeavor. Can you talk to us about what it was like for you – what were some of the main steps, challenges, etc.

I began leading Bible Study weekly at a Spanish-speaking ministry. I was leading Bible Study and prayer. Before taking this step, I prayed, studied the Word of GOD, and spoke with my Overseer about the opportunity. After a few months, GOD released me to lead Bible Study and prayer at a Spanish-speaking ministry. I already knew Spanish but the key challenges were understanding some of the church members and communicating in the right way to be understood. I would not have done anything differently because it was a rich and humbling experience. My Spanish improved while at this ministry, boosting my confidence to host a bilingual conference and do bilingual Bible Studies. If GOD is leading you to lead a Bible Study or prayer, seek HIS face, and receive instruction from the LORD. Go in HIS timing and not your own.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

Dr. Lady Nini is an ordained evangelist and teacher. She is a bilingual teacher (Spanish and English) of the Word of GOD and helps people to understand the Word of GOD and live out their purpose.

After studying and having various experiences in her life, she realized that all that she desires and wants from this life is inside of her. She did this by realizing that her purpose on this earth realm is a lifestyle and she confessed and declared the lifestyle she desired daily.

Additionally, she encourages people, prays/intercedes for people, ministers in dance, interprets, translates, and supports people in their walk with CHRIST.

Training and knowledge matter of course, but beyond that what do you think matters most in terms of succeeding in your field?

Having a relationship with the LORD and seeking HIS face. I could not have reached the level of understanding or spiritual maturity without being in HIS presence. It made the difference to constantly be in HIS presence, and study and meditate on HIS Word. As Joshua 1:8 reminds us, the Book of the Law shall always [be] on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. I took this scripture, wrote it down, meditated on it and GOD began to reveal some things to me. For that reason, I would not have found success in leading a bilingual Bible Study, had I not focused on HIM.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?

I had to unlearn and train myself to not stay angry or hold grudges. This tends to become a common trend in our society but as a praying woman and a woman who leads Bible Study that couldn’t be my portion. I wasn’t an angry person or typically hold grudges but sometimes we deal with some challenges. I was leading prayer and Bible Study weekly and I had to remind myself that I couldn’t stay angry or hold grudges since my heart must be pure to pray for people and teach the Word of GOD. I practiced that daily because I knew how powerful it was to love and have a pure heart. Love is the strongest force on the earth realm and it drew me to my Father GOD.
