We were lucky to catch up with Dr. Frances Ann Bailey recently and have shared our conversation below.
Dr. Frances Ann, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Alright, so you had your idea and then what happened? Can you walk us through the story of how you went from just an idea to executing on the idea
One of the first things I did to execute my vision was pick the vision back up. I wrote the vison down to have a track record of the things I was trying to pursue. For a while, I had started to procrastinate and doubt myself. I finally realized that I was only thing that was stopping me so I picked my vision back up with purpose to implement. Then I gained a coach/mentor to help maneuver me through the process. Having a coach/mentor gave me another level of wisdom and knowledge that was needed for my next level. My coach partnered with me to ensure my goals were met. Later after launching in to business, I began to come out of my shell and network with other and build my public relations persona. Those partnerships and relationships have had a powerful impact on my entrepreneurship journey.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Born and raised on Eastern Shore of Virginia, I am a is a Jesus lover, an ordained Minister, International Amazon Best Selling Author , Podcast Host, Tedx Speaker, wife, mother, philanthropist, and an Award Winning Certified Coach and Certified Christian Counselor. I got into the coaching industry when I overcome a lot of difficult circumstances in my life. and later wanted to go back and help others. My enterprise offers a mentorship program, personal coaching sessions and recently just launched my school called Purpose Zeal Academy training others for marketplace advancement. My academy has went international providing education for those who live over seas as well. One of the main things I want others to know from my brand that the first step for keeping your purpose zeal is to realize that what you are facing isn’t greater than Gods purpose. Clients, mentee, and students who work with me gain an accountability partner, a mindset transformation and a strategic blueprint.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
I remember being diagnose with a chronic skin condition that limited my mobility. I had bean to shut me down in the bed for weeks at a time. I remember being scared of losing my job that I had and also not being able to meet with my clients because I couldn’t get out of bed. I remember starting up doing virtual meetings and even limping to different events my nonprofit may have had, I wasn’t going to let anything stop me walking in purpose. As I continued to press in purpose, God healed my body. I stand today with total healing in my body from what the doctor said was an incurable skin condition.
Any advice for managing a team?
The advice I would give is learn the people. That means to learn their leadership characteristics. Do assessments to see the level of self awareness. This gives you the ability to adapt and work with all types of individual’s. You maintain your morale by operating in integrity at all times. Integrity is the root of all other effective fruit of producing high morale.
