We were lucky to catch up with Dr. Dara Lemite recently and have shared our conversation below.
Dr. Dara , appreciate you joining us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
After going through a painful divorce, I had to find the strength to push forward. Through my faith in God, and willingness to not quit, I moved forward. Be An Overcomer, was created during that time. Be An Overcomer, Inc. was started to help others through their challenges. We inspire and empower people to overcome life’s challenges through the power of faith and using the gift of imagination to create the life they deserve. As a musician, I started Dara Marie Productions to fulfill the need for live music at events. We play for various corporate and social events.

Be An Overcomer, is where we inspire and empower people to overcome life’s challenges through the power of faith and using imagination. We do this through speaking engagements (keynote talks, panel discussions, interviews) workshops, and coaching services. If given the proper tools and practical tips people can overcome anything. Dara Marie Productions, provides live music for various corporate and social events.
What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
The best source of new clients has been through referrals.
Does your business have multiple or supplementary revenue streams (like a ATM machine at a barbershop, etc)?
Yes, in addition to speaking engagements and performing live at events, I am also an author of 3 books: “A Walk With God”, “Resilience: 7 Keys to Bounce Back”, and “Faith and Imagination”. I also have my debut album, “Dara Marie” on all digital outlets.
