Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Dr. Danielle Feggins. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Dr. Danielle, appreciate you joining us today. So, naming is such a challenge. How did you come up with the name of your brand?
Speak to All is a professional service company dedicated to motivational and inspirational purposes through public speaking, life coaching, and development training. The concept of the name “Speak to All” draws inspiration from the biblical passage Joshua 1:6-9. In this scripture, God repeatedly encouraged Joshua to be strong and courageous as he assumed leadership to guide the Israelites into the Promised Land. During the challenging times when Joshua’s faith was tested, God reminded him to rely on divine strength and power. God also urged Joshua to meditate on His Word day and night, assuring him of His constant presence.
This passage resonates deeply with me, as it signifies that our faith will be tested in both our personal and professional lives. It was this message that God placed on my heart, leading to the name “Speak to All.” The vision of Speak to All envisions a world where every individual is fearless in their purpose, faithful to their calling, and driven to bring about positive change. The mission of Speak to All is committed to encouraging, inspiring, and motivating individuals to identify their potential, embrace their calling, and live their purpose throughout their journey in life. My purpose is to encourage everyone to be strong and courageous in various aspects of life—whether it’s gaining confidence, asking for a raise at work, leading a project team, or facing any type of hardship.
We cannot embody true strength and courage without God’s power, especially during difficult times. Hence, “Speak to All” is the name of my company, where I speak, coach, and train clients and audiences to embrace these values.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
One story that truly encapsulates my resilience is detailed in my book, “Respect My Individuality! How to Maintain Self-Confidence in an Insecure World.” My journey of overcoming insecurities as a youth and facing unfair treatment in the workplace as an adult taught me how to value and advocate for myself. I dealt with career setbacks, bias in the workplace, discrimination, and inequality in compensation, among other challenges. Despite these obstacles, I continued to educate myself, switched careers, and eventually started my own business.
The title of the book signifies the importance of self-respect and valuing our unique identities. We all have our differences, and it’s crucial to respect and be civil towards one another. While the world may be full of insecurities, there are individuals who stand steadfast in their self-confidence. The core message of my story is perseverance.
Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
I remember a pivotal moment when I decided to switch my career to become a human resource professional, as my career at the time was not fulfilling. Experiencing unfair treatment in Corporate America, I felt compelled to learn about employee rights and enrolled in a certificate program at a community college. I already had an advanced degree and wasn’t ready to pursue another at that time, but I completed the certificate in human resource management and began applying for HR jobs.
After being laid off from Corporate America, I transitioned into vocational rehabilitation and furthered my education by pursuing a doctorate in business management. Reflecting on this period, it was life’s situations that allowed me to pivot, further my education, and gain valuable work skills in vocational rehabilitation which further led to starting my own business years later. I realized that pivoting in life is not a dead-end street but a detour to finding a straight path forward.
