We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Dr. Clinton Bullock. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Dr. Clinton below.
Dr. Clinton, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
I’m a mindset, communications, and leadership coach. I significantly invest in elevating and empowering societies so that more people are endowed with the skills to fulfill their greatest potential.
I have served as a professor, counselor, administrator, author, and global humanitarian and have supported countless individuals and organizations in achieving their goals. Clinton Bullock Coaching later became Clinton Bullock Worldwide, after the company expanded and worked with people from all over the world and with other international organizations.
I started assisting individuals in maximizing their potential from a young age. As a teenager, I volunteered my time at battered women’s shelters and served as a student ambassador to Venezuela. While in college, I counseled high school students who were on academic probation and also participated in three humanitarian tours to the countries of Chile and Venezuela.
I believe in the betterment of all through education (traditional, global, non-conventional, and otherwise). I obtained my second master’s in the Psychology of Leadership from Penn State University and earned my doctorate in Organizational Change & Leadership from the University of Southern California. This, plus my work as a global humanitarian throughout the years, led to me being named Fulbright Specialist by the US Department of State.
I have always been committed to a life of service, and I am passionate about assisting people in the betterment and the complete forward advancement of their lives. Through my coaching, I promote and focus on efficiency and powerful decision-making through the notion of discipline.
I support organizations that want to increase performance by leveraging high-impact leadership practices and creating a sustainable and profitable business model.
With the expansion of Clinton Bullock Worldwide, I have appeared on the cover of JM Magazine and on major news outlets, such NBC, CBS, and FOX.
In just two years, Clinton Bullock Worldwide has serviced over 200 global clients and countless organizations. In the end, my mission to uplift the masses and serve as a great humanitarian and leadership expert only strengthens my goal of significantly effecting global change.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your background and context?
I am originally from Philadelphia. I almost died five times, was caught in the middle of two inner city shootouts, faced major discrimination in the US and abroad, and was diagnosed with PTSD. Yet, I always found solace and empowerment in dedicating my life to Education, martial arts (holding black belts in Japanese and Brazilian jiu jitsu), and assisting individuals in overcoming obstacles, achieving their personal and professional goals, and creating the lives that they ideally wish to lead.
From Europe to Asia to North and South America, through my lectures, counseling, and positions of leadership, I have witnessed the ways in which limiting beliefs and victimhood prevent people from achieving their truest potential. So, I assist people in taking the necessary steps in overcoming negative and hindering thoughts and emotions to create their best life.
VICTORHOOD, represents the title of my upcoming book in 2023. The notion of VICTORHOOD serves as the opposite of victimhood and highlights five key principles that underscore its significance and purpose. I have utilized these five keys to empower and give hope to people all over the world. As a former professor and higher education administrator, I connect and relate with people through my stories of having risen from poverty to committing myself to Education and development work on four continents. I am a trained linguist (speaking Spanish, Portuguese, and Japanese), and my diverse background in Education, psychology, intercultural communication, and leadership allows me to affect the lives of many across the world. Ultimately, I believe in every person’s ability to achieve their fullest potential, despite their background or unfortunate beginnings, and I am passionate about guiding them on that journey.
We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
I was born to a 16-year-old, drug-addicted prostitute. Growing up, I witnessed various domestic violence situations at home. In school, I fought almost every day to defend myself from bullies who wanted me to do their homework or fight me just because.
Violence escalated, as I aged. During my teenage years, I was caught in the middle of two massive inner-city shootings.
Coming from a single parent household, and being the oldest of three children, I worked since the age of 14 to help with the household bills, especially as my mother acquired cancer when I was in high school and college.
During my senior year in college, I worked three jobs while going to school full time. I worked so much that I acquired pneumonia and a respiratory infection that left me coughing up blood and hospitalized.
After graduating from college, while living in Japan, I was blatantly discriminated against. I was once denied housing because I was American, and I was also denied employment because I was not white.
In the United States, I have been discriminated against as well. In my 20s in California, while at a stop light, a white male on the passenger side of a car yelled out and called me a “nigger,” as he sped off.
In the workplace, I experienced major discrimination, which also served as one of the determining factors surrounding my departure from higher education in 2019.
From growing up in an unstable environment to experiencing domestic and street violence to blatant discrimination, for years, I suffered from extreme depression, anxiety, and PTSD that I still live with and manage today.

How did you put together the initial capital you needed to start your business?
With respect to Clinton Bullock Worldwide, I created a six-figure business in six months during a pandemic. In 2019, I asked a friend of mine, who was proficient in the graphic design area, to create a website for me. Since she had never officially created one, she didn’t charge me anything. So, my current website (clintonbullock.com), is one that was created for free, and I am greatly appreciative of that gesture.
Regarding the acquisition of clients, I invested very little. I invested just $200 a week into lead generation applications that acquired clients for me. With that, during the pandemic, I mastered a close rate of around 80%.
I attribute a great and significant amount of my success initially to the pandemic. There were people who were anxious and suffering greatly with respect to getting along with their partners during this time, as the whole world was locked down.
Schools were not in session. Therefore, parents definitely had a hard time trying to figure out what to do with their children…whether they were going to homeschool them or have them keep attending the school that they were in. The world, on the whole, needed coaches, therapists, and psychologists to help them along this uncertain path. So, as I progressed, and during the first year of my founding of Clinton Bullock Worldwide, my company became a fantastic success.
Clinton Bullock Worldwide remains strong today. In the past year and a half, I have lived in five different countries, engaged in global humanitarian work, assisted countless international and national organizations with the advancement of their teams, assisted over 200 individual clients in the advancement and betterment of their lives, and I’ve also become a 5x No. 1 New Release Author and a 3x Top 10 Best-Selling Author.
I’m always attempting to scale and grow. However, the ultimate purpose of Clinton Bullock Worldwide is to be able to positively affect as many people as possible from one continent to the next.
