We were lucky to catch up with Dr Carine-Ange Tagni recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Dr Carine-Ange , thanks for joining us today. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.
I’m Dr. Carine-Ange Tagni, a board-certified OBGYN and Intimate Wellness Expert. I specialize in helping women navigate the deeply personal and often overlooked challenges that affect their intimate wellness—especially through transitions like postpartum, perimenopause, and menopause.
The idea for my business didn’t come from a marketing plan—it came from experience.
For years, I sat across from women who felt disconnected from their bodies.
They’d whisper about vaginal dryness, painful intercourse, bladder leaks, low libido, weight gain, mood shifts, anxiety, and this deep sense of, “I don’t feel like myself anymore.”
And over and over again, they were told:
“That’s just what happens after you have a baby.”
“It’s just hormones.”
“It’s normal at your age.”
But I knew that “normal” didn’t mean acceptable—and it definitely didn’t mean untreatable.
That’s when I created SiBelle Women’s Health and Aesthetics—a place where women don’t have to shrink themselves, suffer in silence, or be dismissed.
At SiBelle, we address intimate wellness as the essential part of health that it truly is—because when your hormones are shifting, your body is changing, and intimacy becomes painful or distant, it impacts your whole life.
I truly believe intimate wellness deserves a seat at the wellness table—just like mental health, nutrition, and fitness.
It’s not a luxury. It’s foundational.
And it’s time we treat it that way.
So yes—this was a worthwhile endeavor, because the need is massive, the gap is real, and the transformation is life-changing.
I’m not just solving a problem—I’m giving women their wholeness back.
Dr Carine-Ange , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I’m Dr. Carine-Ange Tagni, a board-certified OBGYN and Intimate Wellness Expert. I’m the founder and medical director of SiBelle Women’s Health and Aesthetics, a boutique wellness practice that specializes in restoring the most intimate parts of a woman’s health—especially during transitional seasons like postpartum, perimenopause, and menopause.
I came into this work the way a lot of women discover their purpose—by paying attention to the pain that was being ignored.
For years in clinical practice, I noticed something deeply troubling: women were suffering through real, life-altering symptoms—pain with intercourse, vaginal dryness, low libido, bladder leaks, mood swings, weight gain—and they were either being dismissed or told to just accept it as part of aging or motherhood.
The symptoms were physical, yes. But the silence around them? That was emotional.
Women were quietly shrinking, avoiding intimacy, disconnecting from their bodies and their partners—and they were doing it alone. I couldn’t ignore that.
That’s what led me to create SiBelle—a place where women are invited to feel safe, seen, and supported. Where they’re given both real answers and compassionate care.
Our Core Offerings Include:
• Hormonal optimization (especially for perimenopause & menopause)
• Intimate wellness treatments (for vaginal dryness, bladder leaks, low libido, and painful intimacy)
• Postpartum recovery & sexual health support
• Aesthetic services that support confidence and rejuvenation as women age
Women don’t come to us for a quick fix.
They come for a transformation.
What I want people to know is:
Intimate wellness is not a luxury. It’s not “extra.”
It’s foundational.
It affects how a woman feels in her body, in her relationships, in her career, and in her day-to-day life.
And it deserves to be prioritized—just like mental health, nutrition, or fitness.
What I’m most proud of is the way women walk out of SiBelle feeling seen.
I’ve had so many patients say, “I didn’t even know I could talk about this,” or “I finally feel like myself again.”
That’s everything to me.
My message is simple:
Intimate wellness deserves a seat at the table.
Because when a woman feels good in her body, everything in her life improves—and that’s what we’re here to support.
Have any books or other resources had a big impact on you?
One book that truly shifted my mindset is The E-Myth Revisited by Michael Gerber. Coming from a background in medicine, I wasn’t trained to think like a business owner. I knew how to care for patients, but not necessarily how to build a practice that could grow, scale, and sustain itself. That book helped me understand the difference between working in your business and working on your business. It taught me the value of systems, delegation, and vision. I’m still growing in this area every day, but it gave me language and structure for the kind of leader I’m becoming.
Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
A lesson I’m still unlearning is that I have to do it all. For so long, I believed that if I didn’t personally manage every detail, things would fall apart. That belief comes from years of training, perfectionism, and the pressure many women—especially women of color—carry to prove themselves in every space. When I launched SiBelle Women’s Health and Aesthetics, I carried that same mindset into entrepreneurship. I was trying to be the doctor, the marketer, the scheduler, the visionary—all at once. And I hit a wall. I’m still learning how to release control in healthy ways, trust my team, and allow myself to lead without burning out. It’s a process, but every step toward letting go is also a step toward growing into the leader I’m meant to be.
