We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Dr. Arianna Becker a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Dr. Arianna, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. If you had a defining moment that you feel really changed the trajectory of your career, we’d love to hear the story and details.
One of the biggest turning points in my career was when I became a mom. Suddenly, my perspective on health shifted—not just for my patients, but for myself. I wanted to do everything in my power to live as long, strong, and healthy as possible for my kids. That’s what led me to pursue certification in Lifestyle Medicine.
Up until that point, I had always been passionate about helping my patients prevent and manage chronic disease, but becoming a parent made it personal. I realized that the choices I made—what I ate, how I moved, how I managed stress and sleep—were not only shaping my own future but also setting an example for my kids. I didn’t just want to be around for them; I wanted to be thriving for them.
That decision completely changed the trajectory of my career. Instead of focusing solely on traditional medicine, I started integrating evidence-based lifestyle changes into my practice. I saw firsthand how powerful these strategies were—not just for me, but for my patients. It inspired me to launch Do Life with Dr. Becker so I could help even more people take control of their health in a way that feels realistic, sustainable, and empowering.
The biggest lesson I took from that moment is that health isn’t just about avoiding illness—it’s about creating a life that’s full of energy, purpose, and longevity. And for me, it all started with the desire to be the best version of myself for my family.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I’m Dr. Arianna Becker, a Family Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine physician with a deep passion for helping people take control of their health in a way that feels sustainable, practical, and empowering. My journey into Lifestyle Medicine started when I became a mom—I wanted to do everything I could to live as long and as healthy as possible for my kids. That led me to pursue additional training in Lifestyle Medicine, and eventually, I launched Do Life with Dr. Becker to help others optimize their health so they can feel their best, prevent disease, and truly enjoy life.
At Do Life with Dr. Becker, I take a personalized, concierge-style approach to health coaching. I help high-achieving individuals prevent, manage, and even reverse chronic conditions like high blood pressure, diabetes, and high cholesterol—using evidence-based strategies like nutrition, movement, stress management, and sleep optimization. Instead of relying solely on medications, I focus on equipping my clients with the tools and knowledge they need to make lasting, meaningful changes.
One of the things that sets me apart is my ability to make healthy living feel doable—even for people who are incredibly busy. I understand that most people don’t have hours to spend meal prepping or working out, so I focus on small, sustainable shifts that make a big impact over time. Whether through one-on-one coaching, group programs, or my online content, my goal is to take the guesswork out of living a healthier life.
I also love sharing ways to make wellness a family effort. On social media, I provide fun, realistic tips for keeping the whole family active and engaged—because health isn’t just about adding years to your life; it’s about making those years vibrant and fulfilling.
What I’m most proud of is the community I’m building. I’ve had the opportunity to work with incredible individuals who are taking charge of their health, breaking free from the cycle of chronic disease, and even passing down healthier habits to their children. Seeing that ripple effect is what drives me every day.
For anyone looking to improve their health—whether that means managing a condition, boosting energy, or just feeling stronger and more confident—I’d love to help. You can connect with me through my website, DOLifeCoaching.com, or find me on Instagram (dr.arianna_becker), where I share daily tips and inspiration for living well.

Training and knowledge matter of course, but beyond that what do you think matters most in terms of succeeding in your field?
Success as a mom, wife, and doctor comes down to one thing—time management. There’s no magic formula for balancing it all, but I’ve found that being intentional with my time has been the key to making it work. One of the biggest game-changers for me was reading The 5 AM Club and embracing the idea of waking up before the rest of the world.
I start my day early—before my kids are up—so I can get ahead on work, exercise, and set the tone for the day. That way, when my kids wake up, I’m not scrambling to catch up; I can actually be present and soak in those moments with them.
As a physician, entrepreneur, and mom, I’ve learned that the only way to make time for what matters is to create it. I plan ahead, batch tasks, and prioritize what truly moves the needle in my work and home life. Some days are smoother than others, but by sticking to a structured routine, I’m able to be productive without feeling pulled in a hundred directions.
At the end of the day, success isn’t about doing everything—it’s about doing the right things and being fully present in them. Waking up early allows me to get ahead so that when it’s family time, I can truly be there. That balance is what keeps me grounded and thriving in all areas of my life.

If you could go back, would you choose the same profession, specialty, etc.?
Absolutely. If I could go back, I would still choose Family Medicine—without a doubt. It gives me the ability to truly connect with my patients and follow them through different stages of life. I love that I get to help people not just when they’re sick, but also in preventing illness and optimizing their health so they can live longer, fuller lives.
That said, I would have pursued Lifestyle Medicine certification even earlier. Becoming certified in Lifestyle Medicine has completely transformed how I practice. It gave me the tools to help patients take control of their health in a way that goes beyond prescriptions. Seeing someone reverse their diabetes, lower their blood pressure naturally, or gain energy and confidence through sustainable lifestyle changes is incredibly rewarding.
So yes, I’d choose Family Medicine again in a heartbeat—but I’d lean into prevention, lifestyle change, and patient empowerment from day one.
