We were lucky to catch up with Dr. Anesha Fuller recently and have shared our conversation below.
Dr. Anesha , appreciate you joining us today. Let’s jump to the end – what do you want to be remembered for?
I hope my legacy leaves behind one Idea. This Idea is: If I can do it, you can do it, and life is not a one-size fit shoe. You can grow, explore, and think out of the box”. I want my legacy to leave this behind because I come from a background that stifles growth, and it is a one size fits all shoe for everything. If you think out of the box or break societal norms, it is considered showing off and acting better than someone else, but it allows a person to step out of their comfort zone for greatness. Greatness can never be achieved by fitting into someone’s norms. Greatness is achieved by thinking outside the box and being comfortable with breaking societal norms.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
If this is your first time meeting me, Welcome to you, and I am ecstatic’s you’re getting to know Dr. Fuller, the Brand and powerhouse. As a serial entrepreneur, I provide multiple services. These services include a 15-year photography business assisting the NYC tri-state area. I am an author that has written two books, one called “Growing Up Forsaken: Vagrant to a Ph.D.” and my latest book:” Creating the Paradigm Shift in Your Mind: A Prayer Journal for Captivating Your Thoughts and Shifting Your Mindset” which is geared towards providing support with mental health and reconnect with your Christian faith. I have a non-profit called the No Rest Until Success Foundation Inc that offers workshops and a one-time scholarship to NYC tri-state high school students yearly.
I also have aspiring author writing services, college-level e-courses, and my most newly launched business venture: Preeminence Professional Consulting Agency, geared towards providing various educational consultant services and workshops. I do it all.
I got into my industry because there is a need for excellence in each of the businesses and projects I launch, and what sets me apart from others is my business’s authenticity, strategy, and technique. Many people start a business for the opportunity to say they own a business, or it looks good as a conversation piece, but they need to be about their products or services. In everything attached to my name, I do it to the best of my ability, and take it seriously. Some people need to remember that business, products, and services are always run by word of mouth, so anything attaches to your business product and services has to be unique and professional at all times and, most importantly, make sense! You have to provide your clientele with a substance that can be utilized and not feel like it’s a waste of money.
One of the main things that I am proud of is my consistency. I don’t start something, and I don’t finish, and I do not stop something because business is slow or whatever I achieve is not taking off at that time. I know that with anything, it takes trial and error, revamping, and re-releasing, and it takes much patience to learn the ins and out of business to be successful. I always remember the saying, “Rome was not built overnight.” Another thing I want people to know is that when you choose me, you are getting authenticity at its finest.
Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
A time when you had a pivot in my life was when I finished my Ph.D. and wrote my first book: “Growing Up Forsaken: Vagrant to Ph.D.,” as I opened up about many personal things that I had going on. These two unique things were parental abandonment and my experience with seeing a therapist. It was a pivot in my life because I opened up something so personal and hidden and exposed it to the world. It was wearing a mask and veil to society and saying this is ME. This is the real me. I am huge on preaching authenticity, so it was time for people to know that part of my story.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
One of the things that help to build my reputation within my market is authenticity. Authenticity is everything to me in a business. Not only does authenticity make your business better, but it also creates greater productivity overall. Finally, authenticity is the foundation of trust — and if there’s one thing every business needs, your clients need to feel like they can trust you for whatever they are acquiring from you.
