We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Dontavius Williams. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Dontavius below.
Dontavius, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s start with education – we’d love to hear your thoughts about how we can better prepare students for a more fulfilling life and career.
A very important part of the education system that could be a huge change would be including courses that specializes in what the students want to become. If schools educated students at an early age on the moral standards of the world and how it is in the real world to get a career and actually be able to pursue it. They could involve more field trips for pathways, in a way kind of like an unpaid internship in middle school years. As they get older towards high school years, it will be of great interest if they included more paid experiences and job opportunities to add towards their experience to later add on their resume. As a result more students would come out of school ready for career success. Many jobs out there don’t require a degrees but instead would recommend it. So if students have had prior experience during adolescence than they would have early access to achieving goals at early ages and be ready to retire early as well.

Dontavius, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My brand name is Sniped Authentic Productions. The name was developed due to my accuracy to fit into frame what i see authentically with my own eyes. I got into photography because of my love for seeing others smile and settling memories. I aim to develop a personal and business connection with my clients by providing not only photos but also to boost one’s persona. Questions like how’s life going, if married how’s the marriage, etc. I will commend them with quotes/ therapeutic support such as if you are having a bad time in life remember to stay strong minded and self righteous. To understand fully your down or lows and praise and honor your highs. Photography is more than just taking photos to me. It’s bringing people together and creating a heartfelt memory that’ll last what I believe a lifetime. I specialize in portraits, nature shots and city shots.

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
Whats been a great source for getting clients would be getting out of my social anxiety shell and speaking to others in public. Being in public many opportunities to network with others solely on my own. I also did shoots from connections with my closest friend.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
One day as a teenager I had a goal to ride to a store on a bike. There was risk doing that on the route I chose to ride on but yet I was so determined I chose to go anyway. On my journey the bike hit a ditch which caused me to flip multiple times. I got up immediately and tried to ride the bike again but when picking the bike up I struggled. Not because I didn’t want to but because my collar bone was broken. One would have seek help maybe but I chose to still pick it up with my other arm and carry the bike with me to the store effortlessly. Got there and didn’t get what I came for and still I walked up a hill injured all the way home.
