Donnell, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What was it like going from idea to execution? Can you share some of the backstory and some of the major steps or milestones?
well, the idea for our credit repair business was started as a conversation that my wife and I were having in the car one day and she mentioned how credit had really been on her heart and how she was interested in looking into it and so of course, being the supportive husband, I encouraged her to do that and she begin to do her research and she found a platform and after reviewing the platform and seeing what it was capable of doing, we decided to go ahead and invest in the platform. so securing the platform was just the beginning. We also needed to have our business set up properly and so we had to secure our LLC and our DBA as well as we begin to set up our social media handles for the business as well once all of these entities were in place, we were ready to launch and start taking our first set of clients. This was a relatively smooth process, but a very uncertain process because this was a new business venture for us yet we stuck to our beliefs, our integrity, and in just a few months we were able to scale this business to the place where it begin to replace our hourly incomes on our current jobs

I’m Donnell Walder, and along with my wife Shaerica Walder, we’ve been dedicated to helping individuals improve their financial health, particularly through credit repair and financial literacy. Over the years, we’ve helped 150 people become homeowners, 35 purchase new cars, and 317 raise their credit scores to the 700 club. Our journey into this industry was inspired by our own financial challenges. Absolutely. One of the most pivotal moments in my life and career came when my wife and I hit a financial low. We had faced setbacks that severely impacted our credit, and we found ourselves in a position that many of our clients now face—struggling to get approved for loans and facing overwhelming debt. It was a moment of realization that financial literacy was something we needed to master, not just for ourselves, but to help others avoid the same pitfalls.
At that point, we decided to take a deep dive into understanding credit repair, financial management, and debt elimination strategies. We started with our own credit, learning the ins and outs of the system, challenging inaccuracies, and building our scores back up. Once we successfully turned our financial situation around, we realized that there was a huge need for these services in our community. That’s when we made the decision to pivot our careers and start our credit repair business.
What began as a personal mission turned into a business with a larger purpose: to help people unlock financial opportunities they thought were out of reach.
