Alright, Donna thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. So, naming is such a challenge. How did you come up with the name of your brand?
My middle name is Layal. It’s a Lebanese name and it means “night” in Arabic. That’s how I came up with Layal Beauty. I’ve always loved it growing up & I wanted to name my business something different and unique, so I decided to use my middle name.

I’m a passionate makeup artist and hairdresser, and the proud owner of Layal Beauty LLC—a brand built on beauty, confidence, and self-love.
My journey into the beauty industry started with a deep love for transformation—watching someone light up after a glam session truly sparked something in me. Over the years, that passion has grown into not only offering professional hair and makeup services but also curating a line of self-care products to help my clients feel amazing every single day.
Through Layal Beauty LLC, I offer high-quality eyelashes, whipped body butter, and hand-poured candles—all made with care, creativity, and a touch of luxury. Whether you’re getting ready for a big event or winding down at home, my goal is to help you feel beautiful and confident.
What sets Layal Beauty apart is the love and intention behind everything I do. I don’t just create looks or products—I create experiences. I take pride in building genuine connections with my clients, listening to what they need, and delivering both results and connection.
I’m most proud of how far Layal Beauty has come—from an idea to a growing brand that represents passion, care, and empowerment. I want my clients and supporters to know that every service and product comes from the heart, and I’m so thankful for the opportunity to be a part of their beauty journey.
What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
For years, I always received clients through word of mouth. I started working with people and at a hair salon when I was 17 years old. I’m 26 now and I spent so much time one on one with clients who have supported me all these years which has helped me grow tremendously. As social media has become more and more popular over the years, I have transitioned by reaching a larger audience from utilizing TikTok & Instagram as well.
Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
Showcasing my work consistently has been the most effective way. This includes posting high-quality photos and videos of clients makeup, hair transformations, and products. As well as utilizing Instagram Reels & TikTok, to show behind-the-scenes, tutorials, and client reactions.
