We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Donae Williams a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Donae, appreciate you joining us today. Before we get into specifics, let’s talk about success more generally. What do you think it takes to be successful?
I think it takes consistency, discipline & self motivation to be successful just to name a few. Consistency leads to momentum. The more consistently you do something, the easier it becomes, and the more momentum you build up. That applies to anything! Having the ability to control temptations because you’re striving for long term wins versus short term wins. Lastly, there’s a drive you must have to work toward your goals, to put effort into self-development, and to achieve personal fulfillment even when setbacks happen because they will.

For those who may not have read about me before, I’d describe myself as a down to earth woman with a lot of integrity. Native of a small city named Philadelphia & real estate professional. I am a licensed real estate agent in states Pennsylvania & Georgia. I transitioned to Atlanta during the pandemic in 2020!
I specialize in residential real estate offering expert advice & high quality service. As a REALTOR® my goal is to serve the needs of real estate buyers and sellers throughout the Metro Atlanta & surrounding areas. I am devoted to providing clients with loyalty, confidentiality and professionalism. Providing exceptional customer service while my clients make their way to the closing table.
My strong negotiation skills allow me to solve problems for all of my clients! The most important thing that set me apart from other agents is that I truly work in my client’s best interest even if that means walking away from an opportunity that doesn’t align with my client’s real estate goals. The thing that I am most proud of is my ability to never give up. I’ve been in the real estate industry since 2019 & it isn’t a walk in the park. There are great seasons as well as not so great seasons. However, I still manage to show up & continue to push my brand because I truly love what I do.
Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
Social media! The power of marketing on social media is amazing on top of the fact that it’s free! I’ve built so many business relationships and gained tons of clientele from social media. I am in a space now where I am constantly brainstorming different ways to elevate my content for my community.

Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
I keep in touch with my clients by simply paying attention, keeping them in the loop with what’s going on with me & showing them my appreciation for their business. Keeping track of their birthdays, their kids birthdays, home anniversaries, sending out gifts to show my gratitude & sooo much more!
