Don, appreciate you joining us today. How did you learn to do what you do? Knowing what you know now, what could you have done to speed up your learning process? What skills do you think were most essential? What obstacles stood in the way of learning more?

It all started with a single fish ! A bass I had caught in a local pond while fishing with my wife ! It sent me into a spiral of chasing fish all over the nation in a never ending pursuit of excellence! When I was a kid I had very little and struggled with addictions and trouble with the law at a young age but with th lord above and my wife and kids by my side I bounced back to be a better person and look at life from a professional standpoint ! The rest is history

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

Once engulfed into the fishing world i started fishing tournaments which is a tough gig , lots of money spent, very little return, weeks away from Family the list goes on ! What I’ve learned is that if you chase your dream and never give up anything is possible. I am currently fishing with kids each year in an event I created called fishing with the pros which is so rewarding I also do other kid related activities for youth and fishing ! I also recently started a you tube channel to help grow my brand and expand in the fishing world even further! Hope it pans out lol

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

To me the most rewarding thing I can do is get someone to smile or even cry after catching a fish it’s one of the best things in life ! You a buddy or kid nature it doesn’t get much better !

Have any books or other resources had a big impact on you?

Bassmaster magazine and the B.A.S.S franchise is why i do it !To someday make it on their team !
