Domy, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to go back in time and hear the story of how you came up with the name of your brand?
The name of my of company is The I-10 Klipper King. I made this the name of my business because I would travel from my hometown of Lake Charles, Louisiana to Houston and all parts I’m between doing mobile haircuts.

Well my is Dominique Thomas , originally from Lake Charles. I’m a 31 year old barbershop owner and operator located in Houston, Texas. My family and I moved here when 2 hurricanes devastated our home weeks apart. I’m a product educator as well as a hair show platform artist. I’ve won barber battles and also have educator other hair professionals across the United States. To all potential clients I want them to know I bring education of to take care of hair and also the best provide the best quality work and products. We’d love to hear the story of how you turned a side-hustle into a something much bigger.
Yes my side hustle became my side hustle when I started receiving more phone calls while I was working a regular 9-5 at an apartment complex. I walked off the job and never looked back.
We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
One lesson I had to unlearn as being a barber well a good barber, no shade to anyone, but you will be later to any event if you make because everyone wants to fresh for the same event you plan on going to.
